From a humble enrichment centre that started in 1995, Brighton Montessori now has 9 preschool centres serving children in Singapore and continues to grow from strength to strength.
At Brighton Montessori, we believe that every child learns at his or her own pace. Therefore, Brighton Montessori’s curriculum was uniquely designed to cater to each individual child’s needs. Following the philosophy of Maria Montessori, Brighton Montessori adapted the hands-on learning approach and one to one teaching approach with concrete to abstract methods for both Phonics and Mathematics.
With a rich legacy of 29 years, Brighton Montessori is one of the top private preschools in Singapore. Our Montessori childcare approach stands out as a beacon of excellence, fostering creativity and providing a stimulating learning environment for children to reach their maximum potential. As one of the leading international preschools in Singapore, our Montessori-trained educators are committed to delivering quality education that empowers young minds.
Our carefully prepared environment is designed to complement the activities and encourage the participation of children. All our classrooms are well equipped and ever ready for a child’s learning, allowing them to explore and express themselves freely. With an open door communication practice, strong parent and school partnership and a team of dedicated principals and teachers, Brighton Montessori stands firm in preparing each individual child with education and life skills for primary one and beyond.
Education Philosophy
5 Pillars of Montessori: Practical life skills, Sensorial Exercises, Language, Mathematics and Cultural Studies
The Brighton Montessori curriculum covers the whole spectrum of Montessori training and prepares your child for formal schooling. The five Montessori Subjects have their emphasis on learning through hands-on activities – conducted in creative and fun ways that highlight enriching and discovery pursuits. In addition, children are exposed to various other subjects to ensure that they develop all-rounded skills in preparation for formal schooling.
Program Offered
Primary 1 Preparedness - Brighton prides itself on preparing our children very well for formal education and beyond. This includes introducing worksheets in the upper levels to not only help them revise concepts they have already mastered, but also get them used to the concept of schoolwork and homework.

The teachers are patient and do have a fabulous way of teaching. Communication with them have been great too even with their principal, Ms Carol. Loving the Montessori curriculum as well. My girl is able to express freely her thoughts and can see her becoming a more confident child.

As a parent deeply invested in providing a holistic and enriching educational experience for my child, enrolling them in a Montessori school has been a game-changer. The Montessori philosophy is not just a method of education; it's a transformative journey that fosters independence, creativity, and a love for learning.
One of the standout features of our Montessori experience is the child-centric approach that permeates every aspect of the curriculum. The classrooms are carefully designed to stimulate curiosity and exploration. The materials used are not just tools for learning; they are gateways to discovery. Watching my child engage with the carefully crafted Montessori materials, I can see the joy and enthusiasm that comes with hands-on learning.
The teachers at our Montessori school play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing environment. They act as guides, fostering a sense of responsibility and self-discipline. The emphasis on respecting each child's pace of development has allowed my child to progress at their own speed, building a strong foundation for future academic success.
What sets Montessori apart is the emphasis on practical life skills. From pouring their own juice to cleaning up after themselves, children are encouraged to take ownership of their actions. This not only instills a sense of responsibility but also enhances fine and gross motor skills. Witnessing my child confidently tackle daily tasks has been immensely rewarding.
The community aspect of Montessori education cannot be understated. The mixed-age classrooms encourage collaboration and mentorship among students. Younger children learn from their older peers, while the older ones reinforce their understanding by teaching. This dynamic fosters a sense of community and creates a supportive learning environment.
Communication between parents and teachers is open and transparent. Regular parent-teacher meetings provide insights into our child's progress, allowing us to actively participate in their educational journey. The Montessori school doesn't just educate children; it educates parents, creating a partnership that enhances the overall learning experience.
In conclusion, our Montessori experience has been nothing short of exceptional. It goes beyond traditional education, nurturing the whole child – mind, body, and spirit. The emphasis on independence, hands-on learning, and community engagement sets Montessori apart as a beacon of educational excellence. If you're seeking an educational journey that inspires a love for learning and prepares your child for a lifetime of success, a Montessori education is undoubtedly worth considering.

i am surprise the school cant handle my child on the first day if school. one hour after i leave her at the school, i receive a call from the school to take her back as i was told that she was crying nonstop. on the second day , i have no choice but to stay there after i put her in class...what i can see is that the school got no experience teacher to handle 18mths..Secondly , the classroom got safety issue, they got open concept toilet. i saw kids were left alone playing water in the toilet without the teachers noticed.
thirdly, i am not very comfortable with the idea of mixing 18mths with 3 yrs. there are 15 students , 11 of them is 3yrs and 4 of them 18mths..
I am very disappointed with the school. i hope they will look into this matter...As i am working mum., i cant be waiting outside the classroom everyday or worrying about my child's safety.
