Joy Little Schoolhouse is the first Mandarin Immersion Child Care Centre in Singapore to deliver a curriculum, which capitalises on Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences, wholly in Chinese.

Education Philosophy

Joy Little Schoolhouse's curriculum is an interesting mix of Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, Montessori and Bilingualism. The school uses exploratory play as an important medium for learning, where children can move around freely in a thematically-designed classroom. The school environment is predominantly Chinese-oriented, with a small segment for English phonic reading. A large outdoor play area also allow children to experience fun under the sunshine.
