Little Olive Tree Preschool, under Presbyterian Preschool Services (PPS), is dedicated to nurturing young minds through holistic, values-based early childhood education. Rooted in biblical principles, we provide a loving and stimulating environment where children grow in character, confidence, and curiosity.
Little Olive Tree
“But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God;
I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever.” Psalm 52:8
In the Bible, the flowering olive tree represents beauty, abundance and fruitfulness.
It is our hope for Little Olive Tree Preschools to be a safe space for children to grow and flourish in. We also hope that as our children grow up, they will always be rooted in the lessons and values we impart to them while they are with us.
Education Philosophy
Presbyterian Preschool Services (PPS) has been running childcare services for the past 50 years, previously under the name of Presbyterian Community Services (PCS).
As part of ECDA's requirements for the Partner Operator Scheme, PPS was incorporated on 17 August 2021 and now operates separately from PCS.
Little Olive Tree by PPS was first launched in 2023 as a partnership with churches who shared our desire to meet the increasing needs of families while extending God’s love to the community.
As of 1 Jan 2024, all existing PPS preschools will take on the name of Little Olive Tree, bringing the total number of LOT Preschools up to 16.
Program Offered
To build a strong foundation in truth, beauty and goodness in our children
Little Olive Tree wants our children to see, understand and act based on biblical principles, values and perspectives in a world where truth is often distorted, beauty corrupted and goodness disregarded.
We ask ourselves: what is the chief end of education? If it is just academic and future employment success, we are far too short-sighted for our children’s own good. In our preschools, the Truth, Beauty and Goodness curriculum aims to break the moulds of traditional education goals.

Quite a holistic curriculum. My child has grown very well socially and can learn quite a few spiritual thoughts during her time in the PG.

It is definitely a very caring and well organized school but we feel more can be done to let parents know about daily classes, curriculum and events. My child feels welcomed and loved by all the wonderful teachers and staff from day one.

My child’s nursery school teachers Ms Alethea, He Laoshi and also not to forget staff like Mrs Lim, are one of the more dedicated teachers I have met. My child is very happy to go to school and talks abt his teachers in a positive light. That to me is a sign of a preschool teacher with a good heart and passion to nurture our little ones :) we all need that in this chaotic world. Thank you Little Olive Tree for your values and mission.

We are deeply thankful for how the school and the Principal place the children’s interests first, above all else. It is clear that God-centred values guide every decision and every classroom moment. When the heart is to honour God and nurture each child as His creation, everything else naturally falls into place. We thank God for using this school as His vessel to bless our children and many families.

We're very happy with Little Olive Tree! The teachers are attentive and caring, and they keep us well-informed with constant feedback about our child's progress. We especially appreciate the parent-child activities they arrange, which help us stay engaged in our child's learning. Their unique Chinese book series based on biblical stories is also a wonderful resource that sets them apart. Highly recommend this preschool for families seeking a nurturing and values-based environment!

We have seen amazing progress in our child’s confidence and social skills. Thanks to caring and nurturing preschool with dedicated teachers who truly love children. And not forgetting the principle, Mdm Ten. She was definitely a good role model to learn from.
