Our experience at Orchard Odyssey has been truly wonderful and close to perfection right from the onset to near graduation of my son end of this month. The excellent reviews that I have previously given have been consistently maintained by the high standards of this campus!

Love the large outdoorsy campus and space, the Chinese immersion classes for tots and N1. And caring teachers who really love the students and treats each child as a unique individual to be nurtured. Different from the pedagogy we were exposed to in 90s-00s - here there’s a focus on nurturing lifelong learners with a real interest in what they are learning, instead of memorization.

I have seen how my son grew in the short span of 6 months here. The teachers in Odyssey are caring and passionate about their work. You can tell that there's true commitment from the teachers to impart knowledge and make learning fun for the children. They are also experienced and knows how to manage the class well in different situations.
Odyssey Loyang works together as a team across levels and it shows in the teamwork and the outcomes. I wish we sent our child in earlier. Better late than never!

High collaboration with parents in their children's education. The values. The connection. The smiles. The perfect blend of a large organization's structure with the warmth and flexibility of a close-knit community.

Today, when communicating with my child, I found out that their English teacher had resigned, and for a month there was no fixed teacher to teach them, only a Chinese teacher. I pay more than $2000+ for tuition, but if this teacher takes leave or rests, there will be no fixed teacher in the class. When I came to this school, the principal said that the ratio of teachers to students is at least 2-3 teachers per class. Since there is only one teacher, I would have chosen a lower-priced school. I hope that the principal or the management can take this matter seriously. As the principal, a new teacher should be hired immediately after the old one resigns. I don't believe that a school that pays high salaries cannot hire a teacher. As parents, we hope that our children can improve in school. We would rather pay more tuition. As for schools that frequently change teachers, I am very opposed to it as a parent. Frequent changes of teachers can make children lack discipline. Just when they adapt to a new teacher, they have to change again, which is very harmful to the holistic development of children. Parents who are considering enrolling their children in Odyssey Wilkinson should seriously consider the teacher-student ratio and whether the high tuition is worth it. In schools, it is important to avoid teachers being indifferent or insufficient in number, as it can negatively affect the children.

The "software" of this school unfortunately does not match the lovely "hardware" the school campus has. The teachers are young and inexperienced, many lack the mother instinct that a parent would want teachers of young children to have. There are a lot of additional and hidden costs (e.g. most schools have school excursions which are free or under $20 but for this school, $50 and above for excursions quite the norm). Would not prepare your child for everyday life or Singapore primary school or international school systems.
