The teachers are so kind, patience and really get to know each child, providing personalized attention. I love how they encourage creativity through arts and crafts, and they have a strong focus on early literacy and social skills.
The school is located in a country club and surrounded by the greenery, fresh air, space which not every school can provide.

My son started to attend The Schoolhouse Gentle Road at 18 months old. At such a young age, the principal and his class teachers were always very re-assuring and caring. They helped to ease the transition to school for both child and parent very well by always having a good communication line and by... My son started to attend The Schoolhouse Gentle Road at 18 months old. At such a young age, the principal and his class teachers were always very re-assuring and caring. They helped to ease the transition to school for both child and parent very well by always having a good communication line and by keeping us informed. Throughout the year, we have also seen continuous improvement by the school on the menu, curriculum, health and safety procedures for the children etc. Feedback is welcomed and always attended to. I trust the team at The Schoolhouse Gentle Road and I know that they always give their best. Thank you for providing a safe space for the children!

Highly recommended , the infant care is clean and new , the school is big and make good use of every space. Infant care teachers are caring and loving . "The Schoolhouse @Sembawang is outstanding in every aspect- From the moment my child started his term, the school teachers and staff have been warm and welcoming.

The classrooms are thoughtfully designed to reflect the term's theme - food, transport, animals etc.
We really appreciate the craft and creativity that goes into the room designs - Eco friendly and the use of recyclables.
The curriculum and school environment are very conducive in allowing the children (especially young toddlers) to learn through meaningful play. Daily music classes wonderfully showcase global instruments and sounds. The daily bilingual classes are always a fun, interesting start to the day. Daily play time also encourages sound physical development.
Above all, the staff's attentiveness and nurturing disposition really helped my child to settle in and truly thrive in these early, but crucial years.

I absolutely love this school. The facilities are a dream (garden to learn about the nature, pool for water play, park nearby, ...); the staff is lovely and caring; the curriculum is engaging, diverse and fun. They organise a lot of activities for the kids and involve the parents. I can only recomme... I absolutely love this school. My children goes to this school - fall in love with the school facilities on the first visit, and grow deeper in love with the caring teachers and high quality curriculum! If I can rate 6 stars for the Schoolhouse - I would gladly do so! My daughter had been here at Semabwang Patschoolhouse from 18mths to N1..
We loved the school and closely-knitted relationship among the teachers and principal.

Teachers are very professional, dedicated, and careful with kids' development and daily lives.
The curriculum is meticulously designed and comprehensively delivered by teachers, encompassing various subjects such as Chinese, English, Numeracy, music, sports, and more. Each term is enriched with uniq... Teachers are very professional, dedicated, and careful with kids' development and daily lives.
The curriculum is meticulously designed and comprehensively delivered by teachers, encompassing various subjects such as Chinese, English, Numeracy, music, sports, and more. Each term is enriched with unique themes, supported by various materials and outings.
Various events are organised, including participation from parents. And supporting materials are provided for parents to do some activities with kids at home. The communication between teachers and parents is very smooth. We are well informed of happenings. The outdoor playground, including water play and a sand pit, is spacious and lovely. School also pays a lot of attention to hygiene and safety, which is appreciated.

I like how the school inculcate creativity through Wacky Wednesdays too, children get to dress up once a month to their fav themes. Strong and friendly parents community is another plus point.

"After looking at several preschools, we chose The Schoolhouse because we were impressed with them. The principal on our tour was able to concisely explain the educational/developmental goals behind everything at the school, from large-scale aspects of the curriculum to small-scale in-class activities. She could even explain the child developmental reasoning behind why the school purchased certain toys over others. It all seemed so thoughtfully designed.
My daughter started at the youngest level and continued all the way through (until the end of K2). She enjoyed going to school every day and always spoke warmly of her teachers and principal. She never felt stressed there, yet she learned so much that she is at a strong advantage in primary school. The Schoolhouse helped her through many of childhood's challenges with patience and experience, and my daughter and her classmates all grew to become great friends over the years. Her time at The Schoolhouse concluded with a delightful graduation musical that included many well-produced performances by the children and even the teachers.
I am so grateful to The Schoolhouse West Coast for their many positive contributions to my daughter's life."

I love this school! I am an ex student too. I miss my teachers and friends. My teachers were so nice to me. They always care for me and help me when I need help. The curriculum timing is ok for me and I am not late for lunch. This place is wonderful.

I love how the class size is just the right size that the teachers are able to cater well to each and every student. Firstly, the teachers are really patient, nice and understanding. I have not heard any negative comments about any of the teachers and the students really love them all. And the curri... I love how the class size is just the right size that the teachers are able to cater well to each and every student. Firstly, the teachers are really patient, nice and understanding. I have not heard any negative comments about any of the teachers and the students really love them all. And the curriculum suits my 5 year old needs. They value academics as much as extra curricular works so there is a perfect balance of studies and play. I feel secured and at peace every time I bring my son there because I know that he is not only learning and having fun but also looked after well.
