The White House International

Besides education, character building and a sense of international culture needed to be introduced to children in Singapore. After experiencing first hand as a parent, they realised a lack of such preschools, and thus decided to open their ideal preschool, in which character development, critical and creative thinking and inquiry based learning takes priority. Hence, the founding of The Whitehouse International Preschool.

The preschool's curriculum is based on the International Preschool Curriculum and is heavily influenced by the Montessori methodologies of learning through play and inquiry. It is where children learn through interesting and fun activities instead of through conventional passive teaching style. For its Mandarin programme, it implements a challenging and exciting Mandarin curriculum developed by the CI-NTU(Confucius Institute – Nanyang Technological University). The school's curriculum is constantly being updated to incorporate the latest pedagogy and research breakthrough. A two weeks' trial period is available, where the fee will be prorated if the parent wish to withdraw their child from the programme. The school only offers Mandarin as a second language.
