Smart Robotics is a specialized program to expose young minds to the basics of coding and computational thinking. The programme focuses on empowering students with problem-solving methodology as they learn to code and build their own robots. Smart Robotics is suitable for any child that is keen in math and scientific technology and desires to know how to learn programming skills.
Smart Robotics offers a world of endless possibilities and room for creativity for students to piece LEGO blocks to construct their own robots. Classes are kept at a small ratio to ensure that personal coaching will be given to each student. Through a hands-on creation and coding of their robots, it will help to fine tune your child’s motor skills and develop their thinking skills to be active problem-solvers.
Students would also have opportunities to participate in exciting Robotics competitions that will allow them to compete with peers in challenges. Competitions also provide a conducive and motivating environment for students to learn about teamwork while studying technology with friends.
Coding is the 21st century skills that is now mandatory in MOE schools for P5 and P6 students. As the children explore the new world of technology and social medias, it is essential for them to be equipped with basic coding concepts and knowledge to drive through their future.
Smart Coding builds on coding for 5 years old and above using Scratch, a block-based programming language that allows students to develop interactive stories, games and animations.
