Learn coding with Minecraft: Education Edition in this 8-hour workshop!
Designed for children who are beginners to coding, this workshop introduces them to fundamental coding concepts and allows them to get hands-on to create and tweak programs within Minecraft. They will be using a special version of the game that emphasizes learning by doing, and will be going through a guided lesson on events in programming.
We will be following strict safe distancing measures for this course. All students must wear masks prior to entering the classroom and keep them on for the duration of the workshop. Students in the afternoon sessions will have a 30 minute break during the workshop to rest.
8 hours in total, split between two 4hr lessons or four 2hr lessons.
All learning materials provided.
Certificate awarded at the end of the workshop.
No prior experience needed.
