OUR CURRICULUM

Holistic and Inclusive Curriculum

The highly successful EtonHouse Inquire Think Learn curriculum is based on global best practices including the Reggio Emilia Educational Project of Northern Italy. The inquiry programme encourages hands-on experiential learning where children are supported to develop not just knowledge and academic skills but the ability to collaborate, negotiate and think critically and creatively in a bilingual learning environment.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

Child-Responsive Learning Environment

Research and international best practices have shown that your child needs the best environment to flourish. This is why we develop respectful, engaging, meaningful and innovative learning environments that reinforce our inquiry based philosophy of teaching and learning.

At Upper Bukit Timah, we have a dedicated library, rooftop garden, spacious indoor playground, sensory corridors and specialist studios for Mandarin Culture, Light & Sound, Visual Art and Performance Art.

OUR TEACHERS

Embracing Bilingualism

The best gift you can provide your young child is the ability to speak and write in two or more languages. EtonHouse’s pool of qualified teachers can help your child to achieve that goal.

Conducted in Mandarin by native speakers, our Mandarin Immersion Programme deepens your child’s interest in the Asian culture. It includes activities like Chinese Art (painting, calligraphy), Performance Art (music, dance, drama, songs) and literature (stories, rhymes and poems).

Discover the EtonHouse Difference

Experience the EtonHouse difference at our Open House. Together with your child, you can participate in teacher-led experiences such as Chinese puppetry and craft experiences such as lantern making conducted in Mandarin. These activities are part of our pure Mandarin Immersion programme (starting in 2016). Or let your child have a fun-filled time at a soccer trial, engage their senses with pottery in Neuroceramics, or stimulate their creativity in our LEGO building workshop! Engage in conversations with our Alumni and Kindergarten children for an insight into the EtonHouse  experience.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity. Sign up now
