There is no “right age” to start learning the harp. Of course starting early would give the child a head-start on the instrument. Age 4 and above are good ages to start but you are never too young or too old to start.
We sometimes have students who want to start even at 3! Some children who have learnt the piano or violin, can also take up the harp as a second instrument. The harp comes in different sizes on both lever and pedal harps to suit each student.
