FunLab Preschool @ Bukit Timah

by Andrew - 2 hours ago

Funlab has been amazing for my 4yo. The teachers are kind and attentive, and you can really feel how much they care. Our kid looks forward to school every day, and is always smiling at pickup - showing us what he's made for the day. We’re really grateful to have found this place.. fyi they even have a legit indoor playground!

MindChamps PreSchool @ Yishun

by GHui - 1 week ago

I found out from my child that the teachers and the auntie are sleeping while the children are awake. I think children are surely in need of supervision even during their naps. I also found out from my child that there have been instances where children have been left unattended. This lack of engagement and professionalism is actually unacceptable. This is definitely not a safe or supportive environment.

Picket Fence @ Macpherson (managed by Brainy Bee Junior Education Pte Ltd)

by BS Leng - 2 weeks ago

My child has been with Picket Fence since Playgroup, and over the years I’ve witnessed many changes in both the teaching team and the management. I truly appreciate how the current management has been working hard to create a supportive and effective learning environment. Under their leadership, my child’s development, especially in Mandarin has improved significantly compared to before. The teachers are patient, dedicated, and genuinely care about the children’s progress. Thank you to the school and the teachers for your effort and commitment. I’m grateful for the positive growth I see in my child and would highly recommend Picket Fence to other parents.

Little Olive Tree (Bukit Arang)

by Lucius Tan - 1 month ago

Quite a holistic curriculum. My child has grown very well socially and can learn quite a few spiritual thoughts during her time in the PG.

Little Olive Tree (Bukit Batok)

by WJ Teo - 1 month ago

My child’s nursery school teachers Ms Alethea, He Laoshi and also not to forget staff like Mrs Lim, are one of the more dedicated teachers I have met. My child is very happy to go to school and talks abt his teachers in a positive light. That to me is a sign of a preschool teacher with a good heart and passion to nurture our little ones :) we all need that in this chaotic world. Thank you Little Olive Tree for your values and mission.

Little Olive Tree (Hougang)

by Tay Ming Ting - 1 month ago

We're very happy with Little Olive Tree! The teachers are attentive and caring, and they keep us well-informed with constant feedback about our child's progress. We especially appreciate the parent-child activities they arrange, which help us stay engaged in our child's learning. Their unique Chinese book series based on biblical stories is also a wonderful resource that sets them apart. Highly recommend this preschool for families seeking a nurturing and values-based environment!

Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Punggol Waterway Banks

Teachers are professional and dedicated. Enrichment activities are various, school provides many opportunities for child-parent activities. Curriculum is holistic, and child learns through play and routine. A bonus is that Malay Language lesson is offered at a young age, since N1.

LES PETITS GAULOIS (EAST COAST)

by Natalia - 1 month ago

A wonderful private preschool. The school and teachers genuinely care for the kids, and make a lot of efforts to plan fun, creative activities and events for them. My kid enjoys his school and is usually happy to go. As with the French style of education, there is a lot of emphasis on teaching independence, social skills and character building. As expected, majority of students are french or half-french, but there are also a good number of non-french students. The only thing is that the fees are quite high without even including food (which is also pricey), although it is still in line with the premium and international preschools, especially in the east coast area.

Nest Preschool @ Bishan

by Cleris - 3 months ago

After visiting several preschools, we finally chose Nest, and looking back, it was the best decision we could have made for our son. We loved the balanced curriculum, the beautiful campus, and the fact that the school fees were very reasonable. The school isn’t too big, which makes it feel more personal, and from day one, the staff, especially Principal Miss Joy, who made us feel so assured. What touched me most was the empathy shown by the teachers. The transition into school life is such a big step, and Miss Joy really understood that. She didn’t just send us generic updates; she took the time to share thoughtful, detailed feedback, along with suggestions on how we could support our son at home. That kind of care and attention meant so much to us as parents. It’s been about six months now, and we honestly couldn’t be happier. Our son is thriving, and we know it’s because he’s in an environment that is not only professional but also warm, sensitive, and genuinely caring. Nest has truly become a second home for him, and for us, it’s everything we hoped to find in a school.

BUCKET HOUSE PRESCHOOL @ WOODLANDS

by Jason - 3 months ago

I would give negative stars if I am able to! I had a poor experience here. When I raised a concern, the supervisor’s response felt dismissive and unprofessional. Several teachers appeared disengaged with the children during class time, and the overall atmosphere was unwelcoming. I left unconvinced about the level of care and learning. I recommend touring other centres and speaking with current parents before deciding.

Nest Preschool @Bidadari

by Lyn Chua - 3 months ago

While we are Singaporeans, our family has been based overseas for many years and my children are students at Guidepost (within Nest's HK network of schools). When we made plans to come back to Singapore, I was desperately in search of a school where we could continue the Montessori style of learning that our children have been accustomed to and flourished under in Hong Kong, with minimal disruptions. When we heard that Nest had opened in Singapore and at a location so close to our home, I was beyond delighted although a little hesitant as to how easily my children would be able to adjust to the environment at Nest. I had long heard about the differences in preschool systems between Hong Kong and Singapore. However, my fears were evidently unfounded. Even before we arrived, Ian and Ms Latha (the principal) very kindly walked me through the pedagogy and the onboarding process respectively and their confidence from the outset in turn gave me the confidence to take that leap of faith to enroll my children into Nest. They gave us the greatest assurance as to what we needed to prepare and expect during our children's transition to Nest and what we should expect in the coming days. But effectively, we only needed minimal preparations given the seamless transfer of apps and parenting tools that we already use in Hong Kong etc, conversations by both guides in Hong Kong and Singapore (sharing my children's academic progress, personalities and traits) and in turn, we had the best surprise of seeing our kids adjust almost instantly (save for some separation anxiety from my son who had only started school earlier this year, which quickly resolved after the first week). I was very impressed by the effort to ensure almost identical classroom environment and materials were, albeit with some local adjustments, which undoubtedly helped my children to settle in so quickly. What I greatly appreciated was also how where there are differences in scheduling/environment etc, Ms Latha was always open to having discussions on how (where reasonable), the school could accommodate our needs and if not, we could always have open conversations about the rationale behind the differences and how we could best help our children adjust to the changes. The entire Guidepost/Nest network teams have been beyond helpful and onboard with our children's roaming experience and it wasn't even 2 weeks that I felt both my children were fully assimilated into schooling life at Nest. All credits to the Guidepost and Nest teams for such a smooth roaming experience. I am already planning our next roaming and would strongly recommend it to the parents of my children's classmates at Guidepost and Nest!

Bethany Child Care Centre

by Anni - 4 months ago

The teachers and principal are kind, warm, patient, and truly loving. My daughter was very afraid to go to school at first, but the teachers were extremely patient with her and took great care to help her adjust. They also updated me daily on her progress, which gave me so much reassurance. On top of that, their language teaching is very strong. My daughter is now in N2 and can communicate well with me in both English and Chinese, she can even sing songs in both languages. She really enjoys school and has made many good friends. Every day, she shares with me how happy she is and how much fun she has with her friends at school now. .

SMALL WONDER @ SERANGOON

by jq - 4 months ago

When i placed deposit for my child’s enrolment, the parent handbook from small wonder and admin assistant told me a 1-time deferment to the enrolment date was allowed. However when i approached the senior centre director for help as my child need to defer his enrolemnt, she said no deferment was allowed actually and her tone was unhelpful and impatient. Small wonder changed their policy without informing parents, pls register at your own risk.

Nest Preschool @ Ubi

We’re so grateful to have found this wonderful school for our son. The Principal and teachers form an incredibly warm, professional, and dedicated team. The Principal leads with both heart and clarity, showing true passion for early childhood education. Together with the caring, observant, and patient teachers, they’ve created a nurturing environment that gives us full confidence our child is in good hands. Though our son took some time to adjust, we’ve seen small but meaningful progress each day. He’s gradually opening up, finding comfort, and gaining confidence in this beautifully prepared space. We’re truly thankful for the amazing team who treat every child like their own. It’s a nurturing and supportive space that reflects the true essence of early childhood care—especially with the Montessori values we deeply appreciate. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a loving and respectful place for their little one to grow and thrive. ?

The Worst School Experience I’ve Had: A Parent’s Warning I feel compelled to share my experience with an infant care center that left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I enrolled my baby in this school in April and withdrew him in May. In total, he only attended for 13 days in April and 6 days in May — far from a full month in either case. The main reason I decided to withdraw my baby was on the advice of a doctor. Shortly after starting at the school, my baby began falling sick repeatedly. He would recover for a few days, return to school, and then fall sick again. It became a painful cycle no parent wants to see their child go through. Before enrolling, I specifically asked the admin staff about the caregiver-to-baby ratio. I was assured that one teacher would be responsible for only two babies. However, in reality, I found that one teacher was often looking after more than two babies at a time. This lack of proper supervision was unacceptable and misleading. Another serious concern was hygiene. It became clear to me that the school allowed unwell babies to attend, putting other children at risk. It was obvious that hygiene and health protocols were not strictly followed — something that should be a top priority in any childcare environment. Despite my decision not to send my baby in June, I was still charged the full month’s fee — and without any subsidy. That felt extremely unfair, especially since my child did not attend at all and I had already informed them of the withdrawal. At this point, I honestly don’t think any parent would want to continue sending their child there. As a parent, the safety and well-being of our children should come first. I hope this review helps other parents make more informed choices. Don’t be afraid to ask the tough questions — and don’t settle when your instincts tell you something’s wrong.

SWEETLANDS CHILDCARE @ 316 JURONG EAST

by Adenna - 5 months ago

My girl graduated from this centre back in 2024. Pros : The K2 teacher Uni is firm yet my girl loves to go to school. Teacher would maintain a good parent teacher communication when i pick my child up. My child turns out to be very bubbly when she took over from teacher teo. Still sees Teacher Uni around and she will always says hello & ask about my daughter's wellbeing. - the group of teachers there is so welcoming. Teacher Rebecca, Teacher Nissan is a very joyful bunch of educators. Always smiling and handling the kids well. Teaxher Nissan is always smiling every morning during arrival. Cons - Chinese teacher always not around. I think the turnover rate for language teacher is high. The english teachers have been there for quite some time. - i feel the principal needs to work on being friendly or so. Her aura is not welcoming and always delay my queries. The teachers can get back to me faster than the principal.

Emerge Arts & Media Academy @ Raffles

by Elaine - 5 months ago

Went for a trial class with my daughter and it went well. Was about to sign up for a full class package but then I talked to some parents and heard some things that made me worry. Apparently, sometimes teachers get switched last minute and have to teach styles they don’t really know? Sounds like no proper backup plan, they just get anyone to cover even if not trained. Wonder if they really care about the kids learning or just trying to fill slots. As a parent paying good money, I want the best for my girl. The kids seem to enjoy the classes but parents please check properly before signing up.

Very bad experience with the owners of this tuition centre. My kid do not feel the enthusiasm from the the owner who is a teacher herself. Lessons are conducted half-heartedly. Also, the other teachers (employees) seem pretty low morale. I dont think it is a good environment for the students

First Kick Academy @ Punggol Secondary School

by ling Tan - 6 months ago

Super Lousy, I’m really disappointed with the football club like First Kick academy, under 12 excellence team punggol. Opportunities were not given equally and bias (not sure if it is base on race) and unfair treatment was shown in this club. Despite every family paid the same amount of fees for the competition, my son was not given much time to play on the field, I can only understand that if my son is damm lousy and cannot even play properly on the field hence chance was not given to him, HOWEVER, this is not the case! Those kids who cannot performance that well gets to play most of the time whilst my son has to sit throughout the competition game timing, the max gets to play 20min at some competition date. If that is the case, should I, as parent just pay the amount of fees based on the time given for him to play, say like $5-10 only? We paid the whole fees every session to let him sit under the sun and feel disappointed on every occasion. I did not accuse them with this conclusion that unfair treatment was seen in this team, is not just my personal opinion or because I wanted to care only for my son. In fact, most parents who were present on the competition game also commented why my son was not given a chance when he can performance better than some other child in the team. No offend to the members in the team, however it believes every child should at least have quite an equal amount of play time in the competition field. Some kids get to play throughout the whole 1 and half hour game but the coach can’t even give time for my son to perform or play? It seems really unjustified. It did not come from me solely as a mother point of view but those other parents who are involved in the first kick academy have eyes to judge as well and feels the same way as me, they also commented opportunities was not given to my kid despite that he can do well on field. If others can see that, why a professional coach can’t see this point. It will then come across to me as unprofessional as they judge or give chance to those kids the coach like, and no hope for those kids that coach don’t like and not given a chance based on skill. Sound unethical if this is really true. Really damm disappointed with the coach despite us as parent sound out nicely our concern to the coach in text message, just and not getting a single response from him, it shown clearly on the level of concern and well-being given to any members in their first kick team. They are not even concern on how the disappointment could affect a child well-being. On several occasion, my son cried because of the disappointment for unable to play, and the non-concern attitude from the coaches. It seems contradicted from their motto of inspire a passion for the game while shaping confident, well-rounded players. I notice more damage to a young child that to help in nurturing them. We are risking our child mental health by entrusting our child with First Kick academy!

Went for interview and realised i was being lowball. Message him and told him that i will pass the opportunity, he threatened me by saying if i dont work for them, will sue me. Please stay away from this man. To the parent’s out there, please find other tuition centre instead.
