Since my son joined PG, it took him a little time to settle in, but the teachers were incredibly patient and supportive in nurturing his growth. They are always prompt in providing updates and addressing any questions we have. I’d especially like to mention Ms. Ofilia, who is always cheerful, welcoming, and wonderfully helpful with any of our queries. My son thoroughly enjoys his time at school, where the staff fosters a strong sense of friendship among students, which has positively impacted his social interactions outside of school as well. I am very pleased with my decision to choose Carpediam.

Witnessing my child's newfound politeness in speech is a clear reflection of the valuable lessons instilled at the school. Moreover, incorporating outdoor plays like sand play and water play has injected a dynamic dimension into daily lessons, fostering a more engaging and interactive learning experience. Communication is clear to us at most times. Overall satisfied and have improved alot over the years.

We are very blessed to have met such caring and thoughtful teachers for our girl in Carpe Diem. Teacher Jessa and Qian Laoshi not only put in lots of hardwork in guiding and teaching the kids, but also put in lots of “heart work” to connect with the kids. My girl always look forward to spend time with her teachers and friends in school, because it’s always so much fun for her! This relieves lots of stress off working parents, since we know she’s in safe hands and enjoying her day away from us! Not forgetting all the curriculum that she will share with us at the end of the day what she had learnt in school, and it never fail to amaze us that the teachers can accomplish so much with so many children in a day! We have known of Carpe Diem since my niece started sch in 2012. We have come to know of Carpe Diem since my niece started attending school in 2012. One of the qualities of the school is its attentive and proactive approach to communication. The teachers promptly inform us of any injuries that occur during school hours, ensuring transparency and giving us a peace of mind whenever our children are in school. Beyond safety, Carpe Diem is also prompt in addressing any concerns parents may raise. The teachers are always receptive, offering prompt solutions and support. Additionally, the school has plenty of educational toys and often make use of recyclable materials to teach and develop children skills and knowledge. The vast outdoor space at Carpe Diem also provides an excellent environment for outdoor learning and play. This not only enhances the children's physical development but also encourages exploration and a deeper connection with nature. Our family is grateful for the positive partnership.

Kiana was initially crying during dropoffs but I noticed that the teachers namely Teacher My and Laoshi always taking very good care of her and calming her down. They even send us pictures of her after her crying episode to ensure we are at peace as well. I am also aware the Ms Li Li walks around with Kiana to distract her as she becomes anxious when her other classmates leave for the day. We are very happy that we chose to send Kiana to Carpe Diem as well. Teacher My has been exceptional and so are the other teachers along with Ms Diane and Teacher Waney. Our kids enjoy school!

We absolutely love Carpe Diem Kidz Playhouse along Canada Road. And I can speak for my daughter as she never dreaded going to school. The name of the school speaks for itself; it offers a balanced curriculum of learn and play, such as Junior Chef, weekly water and sand play - which are some of my daughter’s favourite activities. Not to mention the vast amount of space with indoor and outdoor playground for the kids to run around. My husband and I believe in the “learning through play” approach so Carpe Diem Kidz Playhouse absolutely hit the mark. My daughter started school when she was 18 months old. I must say the teachers have been thoroughly supportive and encouraging throughout my daughter’s development. We can tell they really care for the children. They are truly very dedicated, hardworking teachers who have organised countless class activities for the kids to learn new skills. We also applaud their commitment to using recycled materials. Furthermore, they have also put in extra time and effort to organise mega events such as the school carnival and end-of-year concert. My husband and I are very impressed.
So this is why it was a very difficult decision to withdraw my daughter from the school. If we weren’t moving too far away, we definitely would have let our daughter continue with school at Carpe Diem Kidz Playhouse.

The teachers at Carpe Diem at Petir Road have shown patience, care and dedication throughout my children's preschool years. The teachers observe and share their feedback on how the children can improve in their subjects. When my eldest was in K1, the teacher provided supplementary worksheets and recommended YouTube channels that would help improve her phonics as she was weaker in this area than her peers.
It comforts me to know that my children are happy in school and willingly share their thoughts and feelings with any teacher.
Even though my eldest has now left preschool, she still talks about her enjoyable experiences with her preschool classmates and teachers. She also requests to visit her teachers every time we pass by the area.
The teaching staff (including the principal) here genuinely care for the students and with the smaller teacher-student ratio, I have seen how my children have grown over the past few years.
My children also look forward to the lunches and snacks being served, especially the macaroni soup lunch!

Dear Carpe Diem Team,
Nurin and Laila have been with Carpe Diem since October 2022. The girls thoroughly enjoy school and rarely cry during morning check in. The caring and welcoming staff in the morning will always greet us with a smile and a 'Good morning' when the girls come in. The first interaction in the morning is usually the most important as it sets the tone of the day. Having such positivity at morning check in really affirms us as parents that the girls are in good hands and will enjoy the school day.
The following paragraphs may sound more like a portfolio, please bear with me haha.
As a fellow educator myself, I believe that the social environment of the children plays a pivotal role in their lives. We see how respectful the teachers interact with the children, how the older korkor and jiejie assist the younger ones to come into the school and play with them. It shows how the teachers are the role models of nurturers and incidentally, the children act the same way as well. Additionally, Nurin and Laila will also come back home to talk about their friends like Daymond, Bo Yan, Asher Chan, Abner, Nadi Shun Lei and Sadie Rae Mak. As they are more expressive with their words, they are able to tell us what activities they do with their friends and what they eat for breakfast or lunch.
In terms of academics, I believe that every child is different and I know that Nurin and Laila have their own strengths and areas that can be improved. The teachers from the PN 2023 and N1 2024 team have been so nurturing and kind to them. I am really impressed with how the children are able to converse in Mandarin fluently and even 'read' the Mandarin readers to us. Nurin is able to recognise letters and numbers well from PN. Laila loves singing and dancing and will show us the songs that she has learnt from school. We owe it to the school as we rarely formally teach them at home.

My child has developed into a confident, outgoing and vocal individual unlike the shy and reserved self before starting school. The support given by the teachers to get them settled into preschool is beyond my expectations.
The school provides a great outdoor space which allows plenty of opportunities to allow them to learn, play and explore, truly a gem in an urban city like ours.

We came to know about Carpe Diem Hilltop from family. Touring the school, we were impressed by the amount of space the school has and the outdoor activities at the school, such as gardening, riding toy cars, water play. The school also has an outdoor deck and classes that have the deck eat outside in the fresh air.
The teachers are very energetic and interact well with the students. There is also great communication between teacher and parents. The teachers use the school app efficiently to update parents and also photos of what our children did at school, thus giving us an inside look into our children’s time at school. There are also several parent engagement events throughout the year, such as Sports Day. We got to know several families through these events and got to see our children interact socially with their peers.
In regards to learning, we like that there are themes throughout the year, such as saving water, world around us, occupations etc. There are many hands on activities for the children, such as cooking, crafts, observing and collecting plants from the grounds, to learn about these themes. We appreciate that alot of the learning is through exploration and play which should be how children develop in their foundation years.
What is exceptional is the K2 camp. The K2s would have a potluck picnic with their family, then proceeded to a campfire night, before saying bye to their parents and staying overnight at school. My son really enjoyed it and bonded with his peers. It was a last hurrah before primary school. The effort of the staff and teachers were incredible, to organise the campfire and games, as well as staying overnight with the whole level of K2 children.
Our children really enjoy attending school and telling us with excitement about their day, their friends and their teachers. We cannot speak more highly of the school as they have really put the joy of learning in our children and built a firm foundation leading to formal schooling.

When I first considered Carpe Diem Hilltop as a nursery preschool option for my son, I was immediately attracted by the spaciousness and tranquility of the school environment. The admission to the school was a breeze and both of my kids did not take long to assimilate into the system.
The teachers are responsible, friendly and are always so responsive. Updates from them about how my kids are doing in school were always done in a patient and unhurried manner. It is always joy to talk to the teachers there. The school takes a serious approach when it comes to educating my kids, communicating to me whenever there are any concerns regarding their school work.
Overall, Carpe Diem Hilltop is a quality pre-school which provided a holistic approach for my children's education. As a parent, my journey with them has also been a fun and joyous one. I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering this school.

My oldest son, Zackary, recently graduated from Carpe Diem in 2022, and my youngest, Ackerley, is soon to graduate from K2 at the end of this year. Both of my girls grew up with Carpe Diem @ Hilltop. The teachers and staff are nurturing, patient, approachable, dedicated and supportive. The curriculum is well-thought to cater for both exploratory and structured learning to prepare my children for primary school. The large outdoor natural environment was also a win factor for my husband and I as we did not want our children to be housed in an air-conditioned classroom with no opportunity for natural exploration. The activities organized by the school, for example the annual graduation concert, campfires, excursions, are all well-planned and executed. My girls are now in primary school and they still miss and talk about their teachers in Carpe Diem @ Hilltop. I miss the teachers too! Thank you Carpe Diem @ Hilltop for taking care of S&S!

Both of my children attend Carpe Diem @ Stradia. My eldest graduated last year; he joined in 2021 and started his Kindergarten at Carpe Diem. The teachers made the transition very smooth for him, and he enjoyed school mostly because of the teachers and his friends. My youngest started at Carpe Diem when she was 3 months old. I never had a big issue with her well-being in school, as she enjoys it. She's now starting her nursery at Carpe Diem. Besides the caring teachers, the center is very clean and provides a nice learning environment.

It was truly fantastic, and I couldn't help but notice the incredible effort you and the center managers put in over the past few months. From coordinating costumes to crafting the program brochures, everything was just perfect!
I hope you realize the impact of your hard work and how amazing the event was for everyone who attended. Seeing the kids dancing in sync with the music in their adorable costumes was heartwarming, and it's a testament to how much they've grown since they first joined. I was truly moved towards the end.

Dear Jane and the wonderful team of Educators at Carpe Diem Mi Schoolhouse,
I hope this email finds you well! I wanted to take a moment to express my word of thanks for the exceptional care and support that my daughter, Alyssa Tey, has received at Carpe Diem Mi Schoolhouse. I missed the deadline for feedback last year, so I thought I should drop an email to put on record a word of thanks for good work done by the team!
Alyssa enrolled into Carpe Diem Mi Schoolhouse as a N2 child in 2019 and went through a difficult transition phase from her previous pre-school. Crying at drop offs and not really catching up with the pace of writing/learning (especially Chinese) compared to her same-age peers who were already with Carpe Diem from the start. However, because of the dedication, professionalism, and genuine care exhibited by her N2 teachers 魏老师 and Teacher Xinyi, she learned very well and enjoyed school in no time. As a first-time mum, I'm also really thankful for the tips and resources shared by the teachers, on how to assist her in learning at home (e.g. laminated A4 cards and worksheets with her name in Eng and Chinese - for her to practise at home using markers and even play dough!).
I would also like to extend a special word of appreciation to her K1 and K2 teachers 魏老师, 周老师, Teacher May and Teacher Kat (though she has already left the centre at the end of K1). All the interesting termly parent-and-child assignments/activities were daunting to do at first, but these are fond memories that our family can remember for life! And when there were times of misunderstanding/perceived bullying amongst the students, the centre's way of handling was very professional, the children were talked to appropriately and we were happy with the outcome. Oh and the K2 graduation concert was fantastic - we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!
And most importantly, her English, Chinese and Math foundations were built just right, not too little, not too much, and I dont feel much pressure now as a mother of a P1 child because I have confidence that she will be able to follow the academic requirements (e.g. Spelling and 听写) and routines of Primary school with relative ease. Other efforts like having a 'little canteen' set up within the centre, outdoor walks to nearby primary schools, (there are just too many to mention all) were also very helpful and got us excited about her P1 journey.
All your dedication, patience, and unwavering support have helped Alyssa flourish in ways we couldn't have imagined. You've not only fostered her academic growth but also her emotional and social development. It's evident that you see her as a unique individual with her own strengths and areas for growth, and for that, we are incredibly grateful.
Lastly, to Jane, thank you also for all the love and care you have given to my girls, and I believe also to all the children in your centre. They’ve grown up and learned well under you and your team's care. Your gentle yet effective leadership has definitely brought out the best in your team of nurturing teachers. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to each member of your team. We are deeply appreciative of all that you do, and we hope Adelynn will also continue to grow and learn well in your centre!

My daughter looks forward going to school every day & more importantly, I have seen vast improvements in her speech & social skills. She would also often relate her learning experiences from school to her daily life or any other situations during playtime at home. Being working parents, we would need to know that our daughter is in safe hands at school & Vernice & the teachers of Carpe Diem MI Preschool has assured us a lot in this aspect. There has been consistent updates of our daughter’s well-being in school like temperature checks, toilet checks & her daily lunch menu. The frequent communication and timely feedback helps in developing the child and focus on some areas of concern. Teachers put in heart and soul in nurturing the children, not just academically but in all other aspects that leads them to independence in feeding, self-care, toileting and even mastering motor skills.
The school space is adequate for the number of children, aircons and air purifiers to keep the air clean and moist. Great safety measures during excursion, gives parents assurance that children are going to be fine during excursions.
No concerns on Communication between management/teachers and parents as Carpe Diem shows excellent and effective communication with parents. We've been very impressed by the standard of care and attention given to our son by the teachers and principal of Carpe Diem Starlets Sparkle. One thing my wife and I noticed when we first enrolled our son at N1, was that the other children who were reporting to school always had smiles and were happy to go to school. It's been about a year and very rarely do we seeing crying kids not wanting to go to school. The teachers are always energetic and greet the children with a smile every morning. These small gestures make even our day before we head to work.
The school also has a holistic curriculum and we can see the intentionality of the teachers to help nurture the talents of our son, encouraging him in his music intelligence and verbal skills. The teachers are also quick to report any incidents and have time and again made us feel secured as parents that our child was growing in a safe environment.
The principal, Ms. Saida is full of joy and we can really see her passion for kids and her teachers. She is also very patient in handling our queries and detailed in her explanations when it comes to administrative matters.

My child has been with Carpe Diem Starlets Sparkle since 21 months old and he will be turning 5 this year. So far, we are very happy and satisfied with the school. The principal (Ms Saida) is warm and forthcoming and the teachers & staff are also friendly and responsive. The environment and atmosphere of the school is always good and fun. Everyone is kind and treated with respect (including the children) and not forgetting to mention the teacher turnover rate is also low.
The way the school handles Covid and HFMD is also worth commending. We (parents) are always well informed of the situation in school and depending on the severity of the case, they will definitely provide an action plan. Hence, such issue is always under control. The school also manages the parents' expectations pretty well by conducting an annual curriculum tea session via zoom where the principal will share with us the school's agenda for the year and the things we should look out for or if there's any changes on the school rules and regulations .
I know my child is in good hands when he grows to become more and more confident, outspoken and looking forward to go school. With that, I would also like to grab the opportunity to thank all the teachers in Starlets Sparkle Carpe Diem for their dedication and hard work, particularly Ms Yifi and Ms Diana (who have always given their full support and encouragement to our child and at the same time allowing him to develop at his own pace), as well as the Chinese teachers, Chen Lao Shi and Huang Lao Shi, who successfully taught my 100% English speaking child to be able to converse in Chinese.

There are many factors that one consider when selecting a pre-school and the usual ones are location, curriculum, school fees and teacher student ratio. However, in my opinion, there are two factors that holds more importance to me than these and cannot be identified until the child joins the school, and that is the teachers' bond with the child and how much the child enjoys school. The latter two are areas where I feel Carpe Diem Starlets Sparkle fare well and the reasons I would recommend this pre-school.
The teachers truly care for children and I see them as guardians as much as educators to my children. When my children face emotional situations in school, the teachers connect with them, lend a listening ear and counsel them. When we feedback that we are worried that our child is unable to catch up in terms of reading ability to transit to primary school, one of the teachers set aside time to give her one to one coaching. When the teachers travel for holidays, they get souvenirs for the children. All of these are above and beyond what they are required to do and really shows the connection and bond between them and the children. Some of the bonds were so strong and the influence transcends beyond teacher to student, the students' relationship grew in tandem as well. In the case of my elder girl, she was upset and moody for almost a whole month when she realized she was going to leave the school for good when she move on to primary school.
The school also plans various celebrations when parents can join the children in school after office hours. It really epitomizes the phrase "It takes a village to raise a child".
The school also takes in parents' feedback and continuously review and improve their curriculum to help the kindergarten children transit more seamlessly into Primary School.
A big thank you to all principal, teachers and staff at Carpe Diem Starlets Sparkle. I hope you continue to guide each batch of starlets to fulfill their potential and become the shooting stars that shine ever so bright.

1. The teachers genuinely care about my children. The children are given a safe space to be themselves and learn. We can feel the teachers are always looking out for the children and can feel that they genuinely love them.

The primary concern for parents when choosing a preschool is undoubtedly the safety of their children. This concern is heightened, particularly in recent times, given the disturbing reports of child abuse in some preschools. Neither my husband nor I have to worry about this aspect as apart from the constant stream of updates from one of the teachers, and the fact that our children genuinely enjoy attending school. Their enthusiasm is a clear indication of the caring and nurturing environment fostered by the teachers, which is further evidenced by how much our child will tell us that they love so-and-so teachers.
Following safety, the next important consideration is the educational aspect, which we have found to be well addressed at Carpe Diem. A notable example is the early introduction of spelling, starting from K1, which has significantly enhanced our child's reading abilities compared to peers from other schools. This is portrayed in her ability to recognize many Chinese characters.
During a school outing to the Singapore Zoological Gardens, I had the opportunity to witness firsthand the teachers' unwavering focus on the children's well-being. One memorable incident occurred during lunch at the Pavilion, where the teachers ensured that every child received their food and even checked in with parents before convening for a briefing to ensure the smooth running of the outing. Some of the teachers were even walking around to check on the kids, instead of sitting down to have a proper meal and rest.
Having experienced another preschool with our eldest child, we can make a direct comparison between these two institutions. In the previous school, all the children were watching Cocomelon during pick-up which I am surprised that the school is increasing exposure of screen-time to the children. Over at Carpe Diem, I observed that the school encourages social interaction among children through activities like arts and crafts, fostering a more engaging and interactive learning environment.
Furthermore, the level of interaction between teachers and students at Carpe Diem is commendable. Despite not having taught my children directly, every teacher seems familiar with each child, providing valuable feedback on their progress. Saida and many teachers would actually made an attempt to stop and say bye to the children, despite their busy schedule, which is a very sweet gesture.
In summary, our decision to enroll our children at Carpe Diem has been validated by numerous positive experiences. From the nurturing environment to the dedication of the teachers, every aspect contributes to a comprehensive and fulfilling educational journey for our children. We are grateful for the opportunity to entrust our children to such caring educators as Ms. Ling, Gao Laoshi, Ms. Diana, and Chuang Laoshi (and many others whom I don't even know them personally but heard of them via my child).

The school has good teachers and principal who cares about the children. They always keep us informed of anything happening in the school. We can always whatapps the principal if we need to check any urgent issue with them. We feel safe to let our children enjoy themselves in the school.
The school has weekly update about what the children are doing in school and we will receive it by end of the week. My elder girl always tell us she misses the time when she was in the pre school.

First of all, I would like to thank the team of teachers who have contributed and made a difference to my kid's learning journey.
Starting off pre-school in the right direction has always been one of the key things we as parents hope to give our kids (Clairelle and Clairine) and I'm glad that Carpe Diem Childcare Resort has partnered us in this journey.
One of the things we particularly like about Carpe Diem Childcare Resort is the warmth and sincerity in the teachers in engaging the little ones. I still vividly remember how Chen Laoshi introduced and showed us around the old school compound (back in 2019). Her enthusiasm and passion could be strongly felt and that convinced us that this is the school to enroll our kids. Teaching them respect, care for each other and encouraging each other as they engage in challenging tasks. These are essential values which help mold the kid to adapt to the ever changing world. To see the teachers recognising each of the 100+ kids and their parents and being able to greet them when they arrive at the entrance and saying goodbye to each of the kids by their name is a simple but powerful way to show they walk the talk of showing respect for everyone. Thank you.
Another thing that we truly appreciate is the relative stability of the group of teachers. Chen Laoshi, Xie Laoshi, Ling Laoshi, Meng Laoshi, Lee Laoshi, Tr Karen, Tr Marcella, Tr Cheong, Tr Anna, Tr Angie, Tr Nancy. It is evident that the teachers have built a sense of camaraderie and the teamwork and support for each other is strong. It gives off a nice feeling and assures the parents that the kids are in good hands even if some of the teachers are away on certain days.
In terms of learning, our 2 girls are always eager and keen to share what they have learnt in school when we are having our dinner. It shows that the kids are well engaged and find their learning interesting, the methodology and style of teaching has been effective.
As for the facilities, the school is constantly kept neat and tidy and hygiene level is well maintained. The detailed screening in the morning and infectious control measures put in place have also helped to reduce mass outbreak of HFMD and flu outbreak. This keeps the child healthy and reduces cross infection to a large extent, thereby reducing the need for us parents to take additional CCL to care for our little ones. Truly appreciate the team's effort in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the little ones.
Seeing how Clairelle has grown and graduated from K2 in 2023, we are happy with how the school has guided her, and we look forward to Clairine's continued growth with Carpe Diem.

We are thankful to the teachers through the past 3-4 years as they have consistently shown their dedication in guiding our children through interesting hands-on activities as well ensuring that their well-being is taken care of. We appreciate the large emphasis on the use of Chinese as a daily language of communication in school as English is the language usually spoken at home. Our children have grown to enjoy Chinese and have made visible growth in their learning.
While we initially enrolled our first child into this school because of the outdoor garden area in the previous location, the new location has allowed more neighbourhood walks and exploration of various playgrounds around. Unfortunately class sizes are fairly large, therefore we would imagine teachers are stretched in caring for the emotional well-being of the children, particularly those with more anxiety towards separation. We would be concerned about the physical, mental and emotional stamina of the teachers even though they do not show it outwardly. Nevertheless, initial separation anxiety of our second child was eased by the attentive and gentle teachers/assistant teachers, which slowly helped with transitions. The movement of teachers helping each other out had also played a part in getting the children familiar with all teachers, not just their main class teachers. We are always amazed at how all teachers know every child’s name!
Especially in the past 2 years, communication between teachers and parents have improved through more school updates as well as keeping parents updated with the curriculum taught every term. However, clearer and more timely announcements of events could be improved, as well as taking into consideration of parent feedback, for example, school concert venue and costs.
I would highly recommend Carpe Diem Childcare Resort and I am particularly thankful for Sie Lao Shi, Teacher Cheong, Teacher Angie, Teacher Ana, Li Lao Shi and Chen Lao Shi, for their heart work so that us parents are able to leave our children in good hands with trust.

She has benefitted greatly from their dedication and we always feel at ease to entrust our child to them for the school day. Under their care, we have seen her grow & develop. She has also shown great improvement in her language skills since enrolling with the school.
Chen laoshi is very attentive to our daughter's needs and shows alot of care for her. She shows passion in her work by giving us frequent & detailed updates on our daughter's progress. For example, when our child is in a bad mood & crying when entering the school, Chen laoshi will do her best to lift her mood and thereafter give us an update that she has calmed down.
Teacher Anna also shows great care to her students. Our daughter often comes back very happy and telling us how Teacher Anna had played with her during the day.
Both Teacher Anna & Chen Laoshi are willing to listen & receptive to parent's feedback and always smile when approached.

The teachers were very attentive and kind. She had lots of sensory play activities and bring back her art activities. and I find their curriculum very interactive. If not for my change in residential place, I would have continued her in the school. One good thing is they really made the timetable work. My baby had no issue following the timetable although she changed school too. Thanks to carpe diem marine parade. We really loved the school and their teachers.

I am really glad we made the choice to transfer my children to Carpe Diem Young Hearts.
Firstly, their literacy level improved by leaps and bounds, and I noticed they came home sharing what they learnt a lot more! My children now often come home wanting to try out experiments that they did in school, and my younger child also recognizes alphabets and Chinese words spontaneously when we are out.
With regard to the teachers’ care of the students, I have observed them being very patient and understanding towards the students, especially those with school refusal. They are willing to move at the child’s pace to get them adjusted to school. My children have been attached to each of the teachers that have taught them each year.
I haven’t had to worry about food intake in the school as well. My children come home telling me they often have 2nd servings of food, and sometimes ask me to learn how to cook specific dishes from the school.
Overall, Carpe Diem Young Hearts has been a good choice for our children!

Greatly appreciate all the efforts and for sure it has paid off! Giving the child confidence even before going to primary school. Also, the teachers and staff did a fantastic job planning and executing the physical graduation concert last year! The details and work and effort put into the concert and rehearsing with the children were evident as it went perfectly and everyone put up an impressive show! We appreciate that the teachers are responsible to the questions we posted on the Carpe Diem Parents' application. And in person, they answer us in a well and timely manner too. When the child is unwell or sustained any minor injuries, we are also informed. We also feel the care and concern from the school when asked about our children's recovery when they fell sick. Sometimes, we would make requests from the school and we appreciate that our concerns are heard and emphatised with and school exercise certain flexibility to address them. Overall, we are very satisfied with the teachers, staff and services. 5 stars!

Having been enrolled into different preschools (be it under HDB or private ones), I would say Carpe Diem @ JJK is undeniably our favorite!
Environment: As a parent, my top priority is my boy's health and safety. We love that despite the school having an aircon, it is so well regulated and ventilated that my boy does not fall sick or end up with a cold water bottle. CD @ JJK has their own outdoor alfresco dining, art area, playground, water and sand play. Spacious, cosy and safe environment! There are also a few gates that triples up the safety of the school.
Update: CD @ JJK has an app that takes photos and clock in/out of our attendance. We love the accessibility! The app also have segments for conversation and regular updates. I had thought usually school only updates during their orientation or PTC. But what surprises us is that CD @ JJK provides regular updates along with photos! We feel so safe and can follow up with conversations with our boy in school.
Staff Engagement: Very impressed with the teachers and principal. Not only are they kind and warm, they are very professional too. I see a variety of tools and well decorated environment. In addition, the curriculum is fun and engaging. My boy would suddenly come and tell me "Mummy, I'm happy in school!". We're so amazed by his sharing when he's only 3 years old! Special shoutout to Miss Janine and Wang Laoshi!

Both of my children have attended this preschool. The eldest has graduated and moved on to primary school, while the second is currently in the K1 class. Situated downstairs in an HDB block, the school boasts spacious and bright classrooms. Every day, the cleaning staff ensures the classrooms are immaculate, and the school prioritizes ventilation by frequently opening windows. During lunch break, the school uses air conditioning to provide the children with a comfortable rest. In my opinion, this approach is more beneficial to the children's health compared to schools in shopping malls, where windows cannot be opened, and only air conditioning is relied upon. Adjacent to the school is a playground where the children sometimes engage in outdoor activities.
The teachers at this school are extremely friendly and demonstrate a high level of dedication and responsibility towards the children. My children eagerly attend school and return home happily each day. The school maintains a consistent teaching staff, with some teachers having taught my older children and now instructing my younger daughter. Communication between teachers and parents is excellent, with teachers always responding positively when parents reach out.
Overall, the teachers at this preschool are caring and patient, fostering an environment where children can learn and grow happily. I would not hesitate to recommend this preschool to any friends in need.

My son has been attending Carpe Diem daycare center since April last year. I had my eye on this daycare center even before he was born, as it gives off a vibe of being truly dedicated to children and their development.
Since joining at 2 years old, I've noticed significant progress in my son's development. Within the first few months, he became more independent and was successfully potty trained. Over the next six months, he started articulating better, forming full sentences, and became more talkative, as did his classmates.
I'm impressed by the dedication and organization of the teachers, and I'd like to give special appreciation to the center's manager, Ms. Sam. My son adores Lu laoshi for her gentle approach with the kids. All of the teachers put their hearts and minds into their work with the children, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. My son is always excited to go to the center every morning, which, to me, is a clear sign of a great daycare center.

Our daughter has been with the school since PG and it has always been an awesome experience. The school helped us to potty train our daughter who went out of day diaper before 3 year old.
In addition, it’s amazing how well the teachers choreograph and teach the children dances for each celebration; all very well coordinated and always wonderful performances!
Besides that, the school has very good curriculum to prepare the children for Primary One. The principal and teachers have also formed a special bond with us, parents.
There was a brief period of time where we transfer our daughter to another school that is closer to our house and whenever my mother walks past the school, the teachers will still fondly ask her about my daughter.
However, after 6 months, we decided to transfer out daughter back to Carpe Diem Starlet 2 as the whole team of educators over there are really good. They really take care of the children like their own, to which we are very grateful for.
Thank you for all the hard work and effort in educating our children. We are very grateful and please continue to do what you do, in nurturing the next generation of leaders!

Our son has been attending Carpe Diem Starlet 2 since PG and he is K2 now. We could not be more grateful for the principal, teachers and the aunties for taking care of him. There was never a moment at work when we worry about our kids knowing that they are in the good hands of the teachers and having fun in school. Even when we moved away from the immediate neighbourhood, we did not hesitate to travel to send him and his sister to the same school. That is a testament to how great the school is.

My elder one enjoyed her 4 years in this school and graduated last year while my younger one is in K1. All the teachers are patient and warm and it put a working mom’s mind at ease knowing that they are in good hands. Their efforts in teaching allowed my elder one to have a smooth transition to Primary one this year. My kids didn’t need to have any additional enrichment classes outside of the school as their in-house enrichment classes by external vendors are more than enough. My daughter has been attending Carpe Diem since she was 18 months old, and it’s been an incredible journey. Now, at 5 years old in K1 class, I am continually impressed by the curriculum conducted by the teachers. The topics taught are not only interesting but also provide a wealth of knowledge to my child. Beyond academics, the emphasis on learning through mini-projects and experiments has been fantastic. Our daughter always looks forward to the excursions and activities organized by the school, which adds a layer of fun to her learning experience. During tough times when she was resistant to going to school, I’ve been grateful for the constant updates and assurance provided by the teachers at Carpe Diem. Additionally, the opportunity for enrichment activities during school hours is something I greatly appreciate. Overall, I am delighted that she is enjoying her childhood with Carpe Diem.

I would like to express my gratitude to Miss Mariam for planning and coordinating lots of incredible school activities and events for the children. They were enjoyable and memorable school events for the children. I remembered one of the events there were quite a few strollers to bring up to the bus. During the event, she had many things on hand to take care, she still helped to put the strollers up on bus. I were impressed by her strong leadership and abilities to lead the strong team in CARPE DIEM STARLETS 1.
I really appreciate for the constant dedication that Miss Mariam and Miss Farizah put in for the newsletters to keep us updated and informed.
Li Lao Shi has always been understanding and optimistic person. She understands that sometimes children will feel uneasy on certain days. She will try her best to help to console and cheer the children up. Amazingly awhile later you can see happy children. She always carry the positive energy and spread to the children. She will always encourage them.
Miss Nadiyah has always been attentive and approachable person. She will tried to observe and understand every children’s characteristics and behaviors. She understand the children and uses her method to approach. Whenever I have any questions regarding how my child is doing in school, I will approach her and she will try her best to answer.
She is also good at consoling and cheering up the children.
I always believe that parents and teachers should work together to make better learning environments for the children. Both Li Lao Shi and Miss Nadiyah really have great teamwork together. They will help to take photos of the children. Both of them will observe and frequently update on how my child is doing in school. Now with the homework, teachers will need extra efforts to come up with activities to help with the children’s learning. With this, I believe it will definitely benefit and prepare the children well for the upcoming year.
I would like to thank Aunty Rina for always preparing delicious food for the children. I would also like to thank Aunty Chai for helping to keep the school environment clean.
I still remember when my child first started in the school, my child is unfamiliar with the environment and food. The staffs will console and encourage my child. Apart from that, I always amaze that all the staffs will remember my child’s name and also how my child behave in school. This is how attentive all the staffs in CARPE DIEM STARLETS 1.

As the parents of a graduate of Starlets 1 (2023), We can also state with pride that our daughter (Nuri Falisha) was intellectually and mentally well-prepared for her transition to primary school by Starlets 1. It was our first time enrolling our son in preschool and we’re so worried at first how he will manage. But the teachers and the other staffs at Carpe diem are so incredible that they soon made us feel comfortable. Our son is so excited every morning in going to school now. He is becoming more social each day. It is never easy to take care of so many children in the class. However, I can see the Principal, teachers and the other staff here push themselves to the extreme to ensure the kids are learning and growing in the class.

I'm very happy that my child is taken good care of at this childcare center. Initially the child had some difficulty getting used to a new environment, including food, habit and surroundings. Teachers here are very experienced. They know how children would behave and have corresponding solution to help them adapt to school. One week later, my child could go to school without crying too much. One month later, she could get used to the meal and fall asleep in the nap time. Three months later, she loves to go to school and even wants to go on weekends. I'm happe to see the check-in and check-out photos of my child everyday with the smile on her face. Carpe Diem is really a good place to start school life. Thank you.

My child Jovon has been attending your childcare at Carpe Diem Young Joy (Fajar Shopping Centre) since 1 February 2023 when he was in the Playgroup. His teachers were Teacher Nana, He Rui Lao Shi and Teacher Florence. During his playgroup period, I have seen how Jovon has grown academically and independently under the guidance of his teachers.
Jovon is now in Nursery 1. His teachers are Teacher Evon, Dong Lao Shi, Teacher Jenny then and now Teacher Emy.
Even though Jovon does not attend childcare everyday, but he never fails to show me that he learnt something each time he comes back from childcare on days he attended childcare. My sister has a set of twins who are 2 weeks younger than Jovon and attending a private childcare. We compare the kids’ school curriculum and we both strongly agree that Carpe Diem Young Joy is good and we can clearly see the priceless efforts, love, care, attention given by the teachers to the children.
In the Little Family Room, the teachers often upload photos of what Jovon and his classmates do during lessons and I can see the efforts put in by the teachers not only towards my child but to every child. Managing one child is not easy, not to mention handling 17 toddlers at one go.
I have not come into direct contact with the other teachers at Carpe Diem Young Joy but have seen or spoke to them when I drop off Jovon or pick up Jovon.
I can proudly say that I am lucky to have enrolled Jovon in Carpe Diem Young Joy. He definitely has learnt and continues to learn a lot from all of you at Carpe Diem Young Joy.

Started with the eldest daughter enrolled in Jan 2015 and now came back with the younger daughter enrolled in Dec 2022. What an amazing place for children! Every staff I met was polite, loving, professional, friendly and always greeted every child by name when they walked through the door. Administration was wonderful and accessible. The teachers and teacher assistants are patience, speak kindly with the children and very communicative with parents. They are professional in handling teary kids when they are newly enrolled to the centre. I simply love the way the centre practised on a small ratio of teachers to students in one class so that teachers able to focus on the kids properly. I feel touched when the teachers still able to recognise and remember my eldest daughter’s name whom graduated from the centre in 2017. The rooms are clean and stocked with age-appropriate materials and the little students all looked so happy to be there. They provide an incredible curriculum and my kids have flourished well beyond our expectations. They take the time to work with each child and create fun lesson plans to engage the kids. We trust them 100% and know that they treat our kids with the utmost respect and caring that we could ever ask for. Thumbs up n Kudos to all the staffs. I would like to extend my thanks to all the teachers at Carpe Diem Kinder Ace. Carpe Diem Preschool not just only provides good curriculum, it does have good teacher-to-student ratio and most importantly every staff member are genuinely committed, caring and affectionate. We saw the growth in our children cognitively, socially and emotionally. A good and safe learning environment is our top priority and we have never doubt that for Carpe Diem Kinder Ace since the first day we enrolled our oldest child and of course for our second and third child.

It has been 6 months since my boy, Kaius, was enrolled in the toddler class at Carpe Diem. Over these 6 months, we saw our boy stepping out of his comfort zone. From the initial days of refusing meals in school, crying and clinging badly to us during drop-off, to now finishing his meals and sometimes asking for more servings, walking in to school without looking back and say bye to us. We can see that Kaius really enjoys school as he speaks of his teachers and friends during weekends and when we were on vacation. The teachers there also gave parents updates and assurance when we asked. Kaius also gain many new knowledge in school. He can count so well now, recite the ABCs, identify colours, and definitely more interactive as compared to the very shy and reserved boy he was before. We look forward to the next few years of education and exposure Kaius will gain from Carpe Diem. We will also be sending our little girl in when she is 18 months old.

Tevie joined the school since N1(2020). We appreciate that the teachers assist Tevie in toilet train, stop milk bottle feeding and be more independent in many more aspects.
Subsequently, even our 2nd child, Ellie also joined the school since PG(2022).
We really appreciate Teacher Jenny the way she handle kids. As she is firm and approachable by kids. During the 2H year of Tevie K2, he have some behaviour issue and Teacher Jenny uses different methods to help Tevie during his melt down in school.
Dong Laoshi also teaches both Tevie and Ellie. She is a firm teacher yet handle all children differently. She knows how to manage both our children differently as she truly understands that all child are different.
Lastly, Tevie transit to Primary 1 and Ellie transfer to another Carpe diam. We feel that carpe diam curriculum is great whereby it really also prepare Tevie for primary 1 by giving spelling and 听写。

My husband and I want to salute the staff of CD Starlets Sparkle. From the principal to the teachers to the cook and cleaners too. Wonderful environment for my child who has been in this school since 2021. We definitely are placing our second child this year, because of the assurance towards this school. The principal ensures a smooth flow, is friendly and forthcoming. The teachers ensure lessons are fun, and their love for children is apparent. The cook and cleaner are also the same. I cannot ask for a better preschool for my children. Well done, team Starlets Sparkle. You guys wow us since day one - keep going!

I enrolled my child in Carpe Diem Starlets Sparkle and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond to ensure that every child feels welcome and comfortable. Our deposit was forfeited and despite several attempts to reach out to the centre management for negotiation / appeal, it was not successful. HQ advised us to speak to the centre director whom we have not been able to reach neither were they keen to return our calls. Matter remained unsolved since Jan 2023

I would like to share our experience with this pre school within 5 months duration.The most bad thing is, Many of items get lost when my kid came back home. Ex: socks, pants,... when we asked, school does not know and ignore it. But next day when we need , have to buy. Teachers are very careless on their duties.But later I sent my child to SparkleTots I feel the big difference and improvement of my child. There is no item has been lost for 2years.
