We particularly love the focus on hands-on activities, storytelling, music, and outdoor play, which has helped our daughter become more expressive and independent. She comes home excited to share what she’s learned every day, which speaks volumes.

All the Teachers take time to know each child's personality and leaning style. It shows in the way they communicate and deeply committed to the well-being and growth of every student.
My son who is currently N1, came home singing, full of energy and excitement. That simple job spoke volumes. It show us he is not only learning-he is enjoying himself and feeling safe, inspired and truly engage.
As parents hearing that enthusiasm and seeing that spark in his eyes reassure us that Carpe Diem is the right place for him.
Highly recommend Carpe Diem to any family looking for a joyful, supportive and enriching school environment.

My child has been attending Carpe Diem @ Blk 318 since N1 and she is in N2 now. The teachers are professional and caring and we have not had any issues so far. My child enjoys going to school and enthusiastically shares her day in school with us. One thing I found exceptionally good is her reading a... The teachers have really done a good job in teaching and taking care of my kid.

I would like to thank the team at Carpe Diem 318 for their dedication and the welcoming environment they offer my child. My child has made great progress in social skills and language development, and I love seeing him sing nursery rhymes happily in his daily life. Dear Principal Ivy and Teachers of Carpe Diem Preschool,
I am writing to express my deepest appreciation for the wonderful and holistic
preschool experience that my son, Romeo Bates, has had since joining your school.
This is Romeo’s first formal school experience as he did not attend infant care or playgroup, and we were initially anxious about how he would adapt. However, the transition to admission was very well supported by your dedicated staff, Teacher Ira and Sun Laoshi. The Principal, Ms Ivy, and the teachers took time to clarify our concerns and guided us patiently on how best to support Romeo through the adjustment process. This greatly allayed our worries, particularly with regard to possible separation anxiety and self-management skills. We were heartened to see how smoothly Romeo integrated into the classroom within the first few days of school.
The preschool’s curriculum reflects a thoughtful and holistic approach to early
childhood education. Romeo enjoys the stories and play-based activities that form the core of his learning. The small teacher-to-student ratio has allowed for engaging, focused lessons while also ensuring that each child receives the care and attention they need. I appreciate the strong balance between academic development, multiple intelligences, and self-help skills. Romeo also enjoys the healthy meals prepared at school. Seeing him settled and engaged in classroom activities gives us confidence that he is developing well, not just in academic content, but also in self-management and social-emotional skills. It is also commendable that the teachers place equal emphasis on social interactions and helping children develop good social skills.
We are especially grateful to Teacher Ira and Sun Laoshi, who have gone above and beyond in their roles. They teach with both hands-on and hearts-on. Their use of positive language and the warm, supportive classroom environment they have created make us feel assured that Romeo is in the best hands. Despite their busy schedules, they never fail to seize opportunities to connect with my husband and me during drop-off and pick-up. Their consistent encouragement, even for small developmental goals like bowel movements, cup-drinking and nap time, reflects their unwavering belief in Romeo’s progress and potential. Their professionalism, warmth, and passion are truly inspiring.
The recent excursion to the SEA Aquarium gave us a glimpse into how well the staff manage the children outside the school setting. The trip was well planned, and despite inclement weather, the teachers remained composed and steadfast in ensuring the children’s safety and comfort. I was especially touched to witness Sun Laoshi guiding two students by holding their hands, on her left and right, to the lift while singing a song, ensuring they were not afraid and were safe from the rain. It was a beautiful reflection of the genuine care and love the teachers have for the children. I also noticed that the teachers are very adaptable to handle different classes and are quick to respond to directions given by Principal Ivy. For example, there was an instance where N1 and N2 were initially grouped to go on one bus, but Teacher Ira was then advised to regroup the N1 and PG instead. She reacted in a timely manner with calmness and composure, despite the impending rain.
The home-school partnership fostered by Carpe Diem is exemplary. Right from the beginning, the two teachers spent time to get to know Romeo as a child, before getting to know him as a student, to plan how best to integrate him to classroom. The pictures which speak a thousand words show how successful they have been in doing their best to make Romeo feel comfortable yet imparting knowledge and skills in him. There is a consistent culture of open and constructive communication, always worded in a positive and encouraging tone. When connecting face-to-face, they listen intently to our questions and motivation and provide professional advice excellently. The commitment from both the teachers and the principal to engage with parents meaningfully, despite their demanding schedules, is truly commendable and much appreciated.
In closing, I would like to express how fortunate and grateful we feel that Romeo is part of the Carpe Diem family. This has been a tremendously positive and memorable start to his educational journey, and we look forward to many more enriching experiences ahead.
Thank you once again, Sun Laoshi, Teacher Ira and Principal Ivy for your dedication and heart for the children.

The teachers are warm, friendly, and always responsive, which gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in good hands. While there aren’t any extra enrichment classes, the school makes up for it with fun termly excursions that give the kids hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom.
