For more than 40 years, My First Skool has been a leader in early childhood care and education. As the pre-school arm of NTUC (National Trades Union Congress) First Campus Co-operative, we have grown into one of Singapore's most respected early childhood organisations since we opened our doors in 1977. Dedicated to bringing quality pre-school education within easy reach, we have over 140 pre-schools islandwide, and more every day. We are proud to bring quality education to more than 22,000 young families.

At My First Skool, we empower our children to learn through a pedagogical approach called PETAL© – Playing, Exploring, Thinking, and Applying Learning. This approach provides facilitated play experiences that aid your child's learning and development.

2months – 3 years old: It’s never too early to start learning. Research has shown that quality experiences in the early years promote a child’s long-term development socially and emotionally. Thus, our Skool-Educare© Curriculum was developed to maximise the potential of every child’s earliest years. Adopting a relationships-based approach, the curriculum places an emphasis on the interaction, attachment and trust between young children and their teachers. The relationships-based approach comprises of three domains: Thinking and Communicating Self, Psycho-social Self and Physical Self.

4-6 years old: In our Skool-Ready© curriculum, children and teachers come together to develop a project of their interest. Underlying this is an inquiry-based learning approach, which encourages children to explore their topics of interest, ask questions and investigate further to find answers. In addition, there are daily thematic lessons in the curriculum that include topics such as numeracy and language. While classroom learning plays an important part in early education, so does having real-life experiences.
