I’m glad that i found PCF Sparkletots @ Bukit Gombak Blk 512! When having my 3rd child Aisy, i wanted a changed of environment in choosing a preschool.
For the past 6 years, i have never regreted choosing PCF Blk 512 as my 1st choice. I have witnessed improvement in all my 3 younger child’s Aisy, Auliya and Ahnaf literacy and numeracy skills. I love seeing all the curriculum photos the school teacher shared with parent which allows us to be part of our child’s learning journey.
Teachers did a tremendous job in instilling good moral values and discipline in our child. They also educate the children to acknowledge and understand their feelings.
The school environment and set up are fantastic which allow me to have a peaceful mind when my child are in school. NOT forgetting the aunty who prepared delicious food and ensure the school is in clean environment for all the children ❤️
For the past years i have been recommending parents and would definately continue recommending to other parents!

A very well organized structure of curriculum that PCF has layout for the kids. A trusted childcare that every parents should look for. With good management and administration the school has gain trusted from every parents especially myself which I feel safe and contented with the guidance from the teachers at blk 126 PCF Fengshan Bedok north ,for my child especially teacher YY and Teacher Tasha and the rest of the teachers that in charge of pre -nursery. My child has become well disciplined, able to listen instructions well and so forth . Able Participate in the activities be it indoor or outdoor with ease.The teachers are well trained and always constantly interact with the parents for updates about the child well being. The school has equipped with lots of creative facilities in education. Proper healthy meal plan for the kids .Overall I'm happy and satisfied with the curriculum structures that the school has given .Highly recommended childcare center.

Since our daughter Lexie Eunice enrolled in Sparkletots Preschool, she has undergone tremendous growth and progress under the guidance and care of the exceptional teaching team. The communication skills our daughter has acquired during her time at Sparkletots Preschool are truly commendable. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the care and comfort provided by the school's infant care teachers.
We have witnessed their genuine concern and proactive approach when addressing any concerns we have had about our child. Their thoughtful, practical suggestions and prompt adjustments to daily routines have consistently reassured us of their dedication and competence. Our child’s daily activities and routines were diligently recorded in the Little Lives app in a timely and accurate manner (and we trust that it is). The teachers' flexibility in accommodating the individual needs of each child has been commendable. Whether it's adapting nap times to suit our child's preferences or incorporating enriching activities tailored to the children’s interests, they go above and beyond to ensure a nurturing and stimulating environment.
The transition to playgroup has been easy and the children progress with at least 1 teacher they are familiar with. We observe that our child is almost always cheerful in school. We hope the school maintains its high standards in infant care programme.

During yesterdays’ field trip, we were greatly impressed by Teacher Hazel’s impeccable organization and time management skills. She orchestrated every aspect of the trip with a remarkable balance of reason and comfort. Han Lao Shi consistently demonstrated an astute awareness of the children’s needs, addressing them promptly and effectively. Her dedication to ensuring everyone’s well-being was truly commendable. Teacher Rida’s extensive knowledge allowed her to explain concepts in a detailed manner that resonated effortlessly with kids. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to Ms Hazizah, Mr Junny and Guo Lao Shi (MTL Teacher) for the wonderful care and guidance they have provided my little one, Claire, from Penguin 1 class.
We have witnessed the incredible transformation in Claire since she started attending their class. The journey from initial separation anxiety to now wholeheartedly loving school has been truly remarkable, and we owe it all to the teachers’ patience, care, and expertise.
When Claire first joined, the tears and anxiety were heart-wrenching for all of us. The understanding of her needs and the extra effort that the teachers put into ensuring that Claire feel safe and loved helped ease Claire fears, and I cannot thank them enough for that. Now Claire loves going to school and talks about the teachers with such excitement and fondness, and that speaks volumes about the special bond they've formed.
The constant smiles from the teachers created positivity and joyful presence in the classroom, making it a place where Claire feels confident and eager to learn. Not only has Claire grown academically but also socially. Now Claire can step out of her comfort zone and embrace social interactions with confidence. Seeing her interact with her peers and overcoming her previous fear of unfamiliar people brings us immerse joy.
Last by not least, I deeply appreciate the teachers for the open and effective communication with the caregivers, especially the extra effort the teachers take to communicate with Claire’s grandmother who can only speak in Chinese, eg. Ms Hazizah and Mr Junny’s willingness to go the extra mile by communicating with Claire’s grandmother through simple words and gestures and Guo Lao Shi’s effort to answer any queries and taking time to translate other teacher’s messages. The teachers have not only made Claire’s grandmother feel included but have also alleviated any worries she had about her ability to stay connected Claire’s educational journey.
Claire is fortunate to have Ms Hazizah, Mr Junny and Guo Lao Shi as her teachers, and we feel blessed to be a part of their class.

Do not recommend this center. I do not know about other sparkletots facility but have personally witnessed and experienced unpleasant behaviour from teachers and even the principal. 1. Was on my way to pick my kid up when i heard a teacher scream at a child who was clearly having a melt down. She not only screamed at the top of her lungs at the young child questioning what he wanted, she even turned to the rest of the class and shouted at them in a hostile manner. I can't believe what i saw and i am so sorry for the innocent children who experienced that. 2. Teachers of infant care are rowdy and unruly. They often chit chat loudly with no regard for the atmosphere of the space. In such a small crammed area, it can get over-stimulating and overwhelming for the babies. 3. Principal is outdated and impolite - seems like a Culture thing at this school. Personally had a meeting with her, which i had thought was to understand how help my child better adjust to school. Instead, it became a blame game with the Principal telling me how to parent my child at home. Most shockingly, she pointed fingers at me and told me it is my fault my child is not adjusting well in school.

My child has been attending the infant care at Blk210 Sparkle tot. I am really grateful to the teachers esp the primary and secondary teachers attached to him. They are dedicated and takes good care of him while he was a baby till about 17-18mths. This is evident when my son looks eager and happy whenever they receive him at door when he goes to school. The school is also sincere in responding to parent's concerns and requests. We enjoyed the various activities planned including activities that involves parents. As my son transits to playgroup, I look forward to knowing more teachers and for him to enjoy school, making friends and learning from others.

They make the effort to ensure the babies are engaged in stimulating activities. My children have amassed a quite lot of art work from their time there, and it is always nice to see the updates on their portfolio. I just hoped that the updates on the activities could be more regular, such as once a week, instead of about once a month.

My son graduated from PCF Sparkletots @ Tampines Blk 151 as the first batch in 2017. He was so much more happier after we transferred him from another preschool to this one. The teachers were really caring and loving, and he could be himself. He is now in P3 and has grown to be a very confident and independent child, which I attribute partly to the environment he was exposed to during his preschool time. He was given the space and freedom to express himself, with so much sincere guidance from the teachers, especially the Form Teacher there, Teacher Kamisah.

I would like to thank the infant care teachers for taking such good care of my baby boy and all the other babies. I especially appreciate the detailed assessment they provided on my boy’s developmental milestones. For example, the teachers shared that my boy smiled when a story was read to him. This really means a lot as I am working and may not be able to catch these moments all the time. The teachers also update the little families app everyday to keep me posted on what Nathaniel is doing. This gives me a peace of mind. I salute the teachers for doing this tirelessly as it’s not easy when each teacher has to tend to five or more babies at a time. I do hope that the teacher-infant ratio can be reduced to ease the teachers’ workload. Overall, I am impressed by the teachers’ professionalism and the processes in place to care for the children. They take time to communicate with parents and understand the babies as well. Thank you very much teacher Lina, Sentha, sock Hwee, kamilah, yogi, ying hua, jia ni and the new teachers I’ve yet to get to know. ❤️

So we went infant-care hunting today. One of the many centres we visited really stood out as pretty unique.

So we were in touch with the centre earlier to make an appointment to take a look at the place, and were informed that we were not allowed in the premises, but only a...
So we went infant-care hunting today. One of the many centres we visited really stood out as pretty unique.
And not in a good way.
So we were in touch with the centre earlier to make an appointment to take a look at the place, and were informed that we were not allowed in the premises, but only allowed to look through the windows.
Ok, I guess it must be because we're germy from outside, or because the timing we were hoping to go at 4pm was naptime, or y'know, SG-Secure. Acceptable, so we went ahead to schedule the meeting. Not a big problem as long as we can get to look around at a glimpse.
Yah right. Totally no glance at all.
So we went down, were at the centre, but was greeted by shut doors that said visitors had to go to an adjacent block where the management office was. Ok, No biggie. So I went and pinged the doorbell and was attended by a staff, and had a completely perplexing conversation:
"Hi, we called earlier with an appointment to take a look at the infant-care and to find out more about registering our daughter."
"Ok, as per the phone conversation, you can only see from the outside because you're not registered."
"Ah but it's raining now and all the shutters are down."
"Oh then cannot see lor."
"Ah, I see. Will anyone be walking us through perhaps from the outside and to explain at least some of the things to take note of, or what facilities/care the centre has? Or any information we need to take note of?"
"This is a little difficult."
Ok. What. That's NOT all you can do. There are so many more things that could have been done to assist us in this search process (instead of letting clueless visiting parents aimlessly wander around in the rain along the perimeter of the centre creepily), such as:
1. If the centre is not open for visiting on the ground, perhaps show us pictures. Like y'know, make a file/folder/iPad or something to intro the place lah.
2. Explain the fee structure, facilities, or at least run through how a typical day may look like. Bugger no information what kinda decision you want us to make.
3. Hire more people. I don't know. But if you're telling us the ratio of infants:teachers is 5:1, and that there are only 6 infants in a centre of 4 teachers, and they are too busy to show us around, then something's not adding up.
But I guess beggars can't be choosers. Maybe we'll still have to end up throwing our names in the waiting list
I hope there are better options other than this PCF Sparkletots @ Jurong West Blk 694.
