Decided on this school after visiting others because of the outdoor play area. Teachers are caring and updates us with what happens in school. I really appreciate that I receive not just feedback to work on with my child but also feedback on how my child has improved and doing in school. Thank you t... We will miss this school when we move!

Decided on this branch after viewing numerous schools for my son. Was really attracted by the front yard with the in-house playground where the kids can play and cycle the little bikes safely. The environment and curriculum attracted us too - holistic, learning thru fun and books. That was at the be... Decided on this branch after viewing numerous schools for my son. Was really attracted by the front yard with the in-house playground where the kids can play and cycle the little bikes safely. The environment and curriculum attracted us too - holistic, learning thru fun and books. That was at the beginning... Then it became overcrowded, high staff turnover, daily enrichment classes and excursions that easily amounted to additional hundreds a month, on top of school fees. Per the other reviewing parent mentioned, this place is more a babysitting service than school. Teachers keep changing and the ones now have no feedback for us during pickup/dropoff anymore; always have to ask but feel like teachers duno what's happening in class (or cannot be bothered) and just wants to get back to their job instead of speaking to parents, which is part of their job too.

I have been sending my three kids to this branch for 3 years, and we are so glad to have found this childcare. The outdoor garden, playground and car porch for cycling is a big plus. the kids have plenty of outdoor time as long as it is not raining. Special mention to the Principal, Ms Aiwen. She is... The outdoor garden, playground and car porch for cycling is a big plus. the kids have plenty of outdoor time as long as it is not raining. Special mention to the Principal, Ms Aiwen. She is responsive, well aware of everything that goes in the school, quick and decisive. the teachers are caring and dedicated. Most importantly, my children are happy to go to school, and I have the assurance that they are in a safe, happy environment as the Principal has been very transparent and quick to update me on things that happened in school. I highly recommend this school to all parents living in the Upper Thomson, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio area.

My child is currently attending school here and we are really fortunate to have found this school. The principal and teachers are truly dedicated to bring out the full potential of every kid. They often provide constructive feedbacks when I pick my child and are willing to listen to any concerns tha... My child is currently attending school here and we are really fortunate to have found this school. The principal and teachers are truly dedicated to bring out the full potential of every kid. They often provide constructive feedbacks when I pick my child and are willing to listen to any concerns that I have. This enables me to make sure that my child recieve similar teachings in school and at home. Their curriculum are fun and interesting as my child will tell me about them and often bring back art pieces and worksheets. I believe a child should be able to learn through playing and I am glad the that the school is able to facilitate that. They have a small garden/a play ground/bicycles/cars for the kids to do out door activities. This is a plus point in my opinion as my child can safely enjoy playing outdoor with his classmates. I am assure that my child are in good hands of the principal and teachers while I am at work. I am truly thankful to be able to find such a nice centre.

Tried star learners previously before enrolling child in this branch. This branch layout requires all children to climb stairs up to the house daily. Principal seems more book smart than actually experienced with real kids. Overall, definitely felt more like a child minding service than a caring sch... Just my experience having come from another star learners in the East that was much more friendly and nurturing. School and staff culture maybe.

I’m glad that we found Star Learners @ Bukit Batok and entrust our kids to them. Teachers did a tremendous job in instilling good moral values and discipline in our child. They established a partnership with parents with the objective improving my child's academic achievement and emotional well-being. The school has been very consistent and constantly gave us feedback on how our kids are coping in school. Teachers are full of love and positivity, and ever so patient and encouraging to the children. Our eldest had separation anxiety back then, but the teachers were very encouraging and patient with him. The curriculum is robust and provides diverse exposure to the children. We are very appreciative and grateful to the school and wonderful teachers for their fantastic work.

Im very thankful to teacher siti, teacher than dar and principal ms aeen and the whole team at star learners. Would definately recommend to other parents!

We put our child (2yo) in Star Learners @ Bukit Batok since June 2020. It was after Circuit-breaker and we got to work since we are essential workers. Worries about child's adaptation to new environment, adult strangers and new routines have never ceased in our mind. Thank god! Our child could blend... We put our child (2yo) in Star Learners @ Bukit Batok since June 2020. It was after Circuit-breaker and we got to work since we are essential workers. Worries about child's adaptation to new environment, adult strangers and new routines have never ceased in our mind. Thank god! Our child could blend into the new environment and adapt to new changes pretty fast, in addition, she LOVES to go school. We were so relieved and appreciative during this critical period. All these would not be possible without the accommodative principal and caring teachers. The centre might be small comparatively but the teachers' love and care are boundless. ALL TEACHERS are able to call every child's name, this is an TREMENDOUS EFFORT to show they care for every child. On top of that, the curriculum is very interesting and my child would share with us enthusiastically. And it is so easy and convenient to get the feedback and update of child when i pick up my child, the teachers are always ready to share with us at the door. Thank you SLBB, you are our first choice, and we have never regret ever since making the decision.

The teachers there are friendly and helpful. My son is improved a lot. He attend the PG class Sep 2019. He can listen and follow instruction. He try to sing song and pronounce in correct way. At first, i was still worry he will not used to it. Surprisingly, he impressed me. Well done for the Star... The teachers there are friendly and helpful. My son is improved a lot. The Principal listened to feedback and discuss with the fellow Teachers to work for a better tomorrow. My boy has been in the Center since 2.5yo and I can see him enjoying as well learning well since School taken over by Star Learners. Ive just visited the star learners at telok kurau.
One of the teacheres showed us around and answered my questions as we were a bit early and the principal wasnt in. She was very nice and helpful. However, the principle came in while the tour and she basically said its all full for 2017/2018 and ev... Ive just visited the star learners at telok kurau.
One of the teacheres showed us around and answered my questions as we were a bit early and the principal wasnt in. She was very nice and helpful. However, the principle came in while the tour and she basically said its all full for 2017/2018 and even if I put my name down priolity will go to the siblings and refferals first. She didnt wanna explain abought the school further till I asked questions kept waiting for me to leave. I felt very much unwelcomed.
She did not even put down my name nor ask the whole time.

The place looked old but ok and the teacher was nice but the principal was a question.
