Palais Dance Studio was established in 1989, by our Principal, Ms. Tan Eng Ai. The School is known for high standards of dance education, and the good results that our candidates achieve in external ballet examinations. We specialise in offering high-calibre classical ballet & dance classes, and provide a nurturing & dynamic environment that encourages each student to achieve his/her personal best at each level of learning.
We have an outstanding track record in classical ballet & dance education, since our establishment at Crown Centre in 1989. Our school's time-tested curriculum of ballet classes includes pre-school children's Beginner Ballet programme (kids age 4 to 6+), RAD Grades & Vocational ballet syllabus classes, coaching for RAD ballet examinations, and mentored teaching-practice towards teaching qualifications.
Our school's mission is to deliver quality education through dance to students ranging from Children's Beginners through to Advanced Pre-professional levels.
We believe that every student can benefit from not only learning ballet, but also from acquiring life skills and exposure to music & dance that a solid education through ballet learning may provide.
To ensure a high calibre of dance tuition, all of our teaching faculty are qualified and experienced RAD Registered Teachers.
We welcome both boys and girls, and offer an inclusive & supportive learning facilities & environment where each student may strive to achieve his/her personal best and goals.
Programmes include:
1.) Children's Beginner Ballet Programme (comprehensive foundation studies in dance & movement skills) for boys & girls age 4 & up in the calendar year of entry.
2.) Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet Grades syllabus classes & training towards examinations – from Pre-Primary in Dance (PPID), Primary in Dance (PID), Grades 1 – 5, and Higher Grades 6 – 8.
3.) Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet Vocational Grades syllabus classes & training towards examinations – from Intermediate Foundation (INTF) to Advanced levels.
4.) Customised private coaching, choreography for dance performance/competition, and individual training for examinations & auditions.
