Introduction
**History and Background/Description**
The Learning Lab is Singapore’s leading national provider of academic enrichment and tuition programmes. We write, develop and offer in-house curriculum and programmes in English, Maths, Science and Chinese for students at the preschool, primary, secondary and pre-tertiary levels.
Since our founding in 2001, we have established a reputation among parents, students and educators for consistently producing Singapore’s top students at the PSLE. Our alumni have been admitted into NUS, NTU, SMU, Stanford, Harvard, Princeton and Yale in the US, and Oxford. Several have garnered prestigious private and public sector scholarships, including half a dozen being awarded the Singapore Public Service Commission’s President’s Scholarship.

**Knowledge** — Your child will learn to strengthen and deepen subject knowledge relevant to his or her learning needs at each stage. This not only helps your child gain a love of the subject for life but also helps him or her meet the immediate school requirements.
**Skills** — Your child will learn a broad set of skills that are general and specific to each subject of study. With a strong focus on communicative and metacognitive skills, your child will learn how to communicate as well as to be aware about their thinking processes and learning.

**English Enrichment Programme**
The Learning Lab’s English programme builds on the thirst for knowledge to build a strong foundation in English components like comprehension, composition and cloze passages. Our English programme develops students’ writing, reading, speaking and listening skills, enhancing their overall language appreciation and mastery.
**Math Enrichment Programme**
An enriching and practical education in mathematics will benefit your child both in the classroom and in the real world.
Our math programmes build your child’s knowledge and understanding of important math concepts. Armed with content mastery and a strong focus on fundamental techniques, problem-solving skills and heuristics, your child will be able to excel in math.
**Science Enrichment Programme**
Embark on a journey to learn about the wonderful world we live in. Your child will not only acquire scientific knowledge but also develop the right knowledge, skills and dispositions necessary to excel in the study of science. Beyond knowledge acquisition, your child will develop cognitive skills for inquiry, critical thinking and creativity.
**Chinese Enrichment Programme**
Our Chinese programmes are specially designed to equip our students with the essential language and exam skills to achieve academic excellence. We break down every examinable component at the PSLE and dedicate individual lessons to honing our students’ mastery of each component. Our Chinese enrichment programmes provide a highly interactive student-centered learning experience in a rich and stimulating linguistic environment.
