The Design Camp is the 2nd series of specialized camps introduced by SOMOS Summer Camp. Targeted towards enhancing the creativity of budding young minds, participants will have their hands on Clay Arts, Creative Arts, Design Thinking and Design by Making. Through each of these activities, participants will be asked to put on their creative caps and imagine the creation of objects. Inspired to provide more learning opportunities to equip children with 21st century skills, SOMOS Summer Camp is founded with the mission to make a positive impact in children's learning journey by a group of global leaders who had gone through top-level, conventional education.
The group of global leaders believe that traditional education is not necessarily bad but in the rapidly changing 21st century, children would need to learn to think out of the box. That is why SOMOS Summer Camp is set up to equip children to take on unconventional roles
and take on new generation courses such as Coding, Robotics and Kids Entrepreneurship to develop design thinking skills.
