One teacher was quite impatient and said some horrible words to my kid due to the kid not willing to do homework. Also, since termination notice, they completely stopped communicating with parent about how the kid is progressing in learning. Something very unprofessional.

This center goes beyond the basic looking after your child (e.g. relief teacher) but enriches him academically, socially and holistically as it bridges general knowledge of what is happening around us through holiday programs. It does not disconnect him from the world we live in but provide insights and practical activities that could be as simple as folding plastic bags! With the strong program and purpose that it brings, it makes it easier for us to give our son a more balanced childhood as school related work is mainly settled during weekdays while weekends are reserved for sports, leisure & family time.

PlayFacto in my view provides an outstanding learning environment for our child. Our child enjoys every day there and love the teachers. Our child was able to settled in and connect quickly with the teachers and new friends. The teachers were on task with homework, spelling and 听写, we simply send them the list and they get it sort out automatically. We get WhatsApp update on the words we need to follow up with our child. As for homework, it’s all settled in PlayFacto and we get to enjoy quality family time after. Home Based Learning tasks were carried out smoothly. During the June holiday they had weekly line up of interesting activities. On days we did not send our child to the center, they send out invite for zoom session with our child for online engagement during some of the activities. The center is small but this in turns helps provide for a close knitted caring environment where everyone knows each other. Teacher engagement is fantastic and their door is always open. We are able to talk and feedback freely during pick up time or else they are just a WhatsApp away. We also like it when teachers made effort to correct our child’s behavior and feedback to us on it. Reports on out child’s performance and progress are provided in written form on the worksheets. There is also itemized log of daily activities that we received at the end of each term. We are delighted that we made this decision.

She made friends right from Day 1 and we didn't need to worry about homework or upcoming spelling etc. Apart from those requiring parental participation or are digital in nature, she had no trouble completing what she needs to at student care. The centre also works with parents to nurture positive behaviours in children. Someone in the review section mentioned the virtual sessions during the circuit breaker period. I'm grateful for this as well since it kept my girl busy while I worked. She looked forward to the engaging sessions all the time.

I am very pleased and happy to put my girl enrichment time with PlayFACTO. Keep up the good job to all PlayFACTO staffs! How can I further praise all the good jobs than my girl’s motivation that always look forward to go to the class. My daughter has been with the centre since its opening in 2021 and I have to compliment the centre director and my daughter’s teacher for taking good care of my daughter for her after school care. My daughter settled in very quickly in its rather cozy environment and she is happy to be there. The teacher is also dedicated to ensuring my daughter’s homework, if any, is done. All in all, my experience with the Marymount centre has been positive and I would most certainly recommend it.

I was wowed by how their center staff at Bedok Reservoir were able to promptly provide me with all the details I was looking for (as compared to others). Very impressive. As we have only 1 child, we are quite particular on where we put our daughter. We have went to more than 10 student care just to see how things are. Then we came across Playfacto. The moment we saw the place we know that this is where we want our daughter to go after school. When they said 'A home away from home' they are not kidding!!! The place is clean and very brightly light. What amaze us is the dedication and commitment of Raymond the center manager that really make us as parents feel at ease and worry free when our daughter is there. He updates us constantly how our daughter are doing. The communication is superb!!! They teachers are very friendly and welcoming. Also update us too on our daughter day when we go to pick her up. Our daughter loves her lunch and tea break so much. They give her 2nd helping. She enjoys the daily things they teach her. Every day there is a general knowledge information she will share with us. She also loves the outdoor activities that the center have. So I highly recommend this center for parents who want worry free day at work knowing that your child is in a safe, fun and happy place. Raymond and his team of teachers are the best!!!!

Hi! I appreciate the ‘safeguards’ that the center imposes, meaning will always check with parents whenever a child is leaving the center. And also fetching them from school to the center. I'm very impressed with the innovative curriculum of playFACTO that allows a child to explore the world through playing. My active child can't get enough of playing! I also like its clean environment, and the staff is friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place to other parents and friends!

"It is the wisest decision I made in enrolling my daughter at PlayFACTO@ Newton. It is fuss free at the end of the day when I pick her up knowing that her homework, tingxie and spelling is done. I have peace of mind and whatever time left in the evening is to enjoy happy family time with her. What pleases me most is that the teachers are very engaging and the Centre Directors are very hands on. Communication with them is always open and honest. Children being children, there is bound to be conflicts with their friends. The teachers will investigate promptly and provide timely updates. They are open to suggestions and do not mind going the extra mile just to ensure that my daughter is happy and well engaged. My daughter loves the Creative Math and Coding & Robotics classes. It is great that PlayFACTO@Newton has enrichments lessons under one roof as it frees up my weekends so that I can do other fun activities and sports with my daughter. Their holiday program is wonderful. So many hands-on activities, outdoor play and my daughter is always meaningfully occupied during the breaks. I must admit that it is money well spent! He used to be a shy boy but thanks to PlayFACTO Newton's love and dedication, he has grown to be a confident boy who is positive and happy each day I pick him up. As a parent this is what I look for at a student care. A safe and conducive environment that brings out the best in my child. The Centre Directors, Claire and Brenda are warm and sincere. We had wanted to put Koei in this location to ease our trouble in picking him up from our workplace. Play factor Newton is the solution to our difficulties. However, Koei’s Rosyth School is quite far away. Having brainstormed and discussed with Ms Claire on our difficulties in shuttling Koei from Rosyth to Newton, Claire was extremely helpful and resourceful. She managed to obtain a great Bus Company that could pick Koei up everyday and send him from Serangoon to Newton. While doing so, Claire had been very kind to keep us in the loop of his arrival time and made efforts to ease Koei into Playfacto. Frankly, this is just one of what Playfacto Newton helped us, there are many more strong points and benefits of putting our child there. Teachers are really professional and importantly kind. The Management really cares for the students and do guide them. There are lots of extra curriculum activities that students can take part in. My son really enjoys the care of the teachers and the friends he made there!"

My 2 school going kids, both have been attending PFS since P1. The help and guidance that they receive from the teachers in the center has helped me tremendously in concentrating at work. The most important thing that a working parent need is being able to trust the teachers fully in caring for his/her children. This, I have no qualms about it. I am especially grateful to the center and teachers for taking that extra mile to conduct virtual classes with the children during circut breaker. Definitely no easy feat but they did it!! Thank you teachers of PFS at TPY Central!!!

It is well lit, comfortable and very conducive for time after school be it learning or resting. Staff are professionally trained and very knowledgeable in school syllabus. You definitely won't find these in student care on the first floor of hdb.

It’s also professionally run as it has the same curriculum as the other PlayFacto centres and enrichment classes like creative math and robotics. I’d consider this to be a more premium student care centre, but at least you have the peace of mind knowing that your child is being well taken care of. Would recommend this to other parents especially if you’re working in the area (Buona Vista/Dover/Holland) or if your kid is schooling nearby!

Well lit, very clean and conducive environment. Owners of the place love children, have good values and spend time and effort listening to the needs of the parents and making sure that everything is well explained to the parents, including the activities, meals as well as how the space will be utilised. It is not often that you will see centres that focus so much on the well being of the child - definitely a place I know I can trust and know that she will be well cared for after school..highly recommended!
